Protesters tonight have been respectful and seemed to mostly go to the governors mansion before quietly dispersing before the curfew.

The shitbirds (whether from ATL or out of town rioters) are in a relatively small group near centennial and the police are giving no quarter tonight.

Hoping none of the scuttlebutt comes to fruition tonight in Alpharetta and Savannah

I think Keisha has been a shitty mayor but last night she earned my respect.

I was honestly surprised she didn’t stir the racial pot like she always does. Good for her

I have had my thoughts about her but I completely agree. She handled it well. And I think Kemp has as well. Georgia didn't frick around today. No MN National Guard-esque showing force without magazines in their guns or retreating from the city leaving it in anarchy.

I think it’s safe to say this is the best Georgia’s handled something in a long time.

Proud of state and ATL leadership tonight.

I'm not positive.
I think the front was broken into and the gift shop raided.
But the thieves are only getting by glass. Not walls or doors. I don't think anything else was damaged.

During the Furgesson riots all over the country, ATL held it in check. Shirley Franklin mayor.

Keisha slipped, let it get fricked up before responding.

But she didn't let it go to Day 2, and for that she gets credit.

But Shirley never let it get to Day 1.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but when you look at Atlanta compared to what’s happening elsewhere around the country, it’s clear we handled it as well if not better than any major city.

To be fair, Shirley also didn’t have Ahmaud Arbery’s murder in state to start the month on top of people being either cooped up for 2 months, laid off their jobs, or pushed to the front as essential workers during a pandemic. The past 2 days are the result of more than just racial and civil unrest. A lot of these people are acting out of boredom, anger, fear, and exhaustion.

This is why they should be rioting. This was a legit coverup by small town shitlords. But they didn't riot.

Keisha is a cause of this. Not the cause, but a cause, a participant in the bullshitivity.

Ya don't say? See, if a conservative says this, it's called "conspiracy white alt-nationalism dog whistle something"

I'm bored, I just saw something horrific on youtube, I'm gonna gear up and burn down my neighborhood.

I’ve seen the same about downtown Athens. Calling for multiple buildings to be burned.

While a few buildings were damaged in Atlanta nobody burned down buildings.I think Savannah and Athens will be fine.
