In years past you win the SEC you were in the title game. Then it was you win the SEC you're in the playoffs and you win two games and you get the title. Then it was you win the SEC with an 8 game SEC schedule you get into the playoff and you have to win 3 or 4 games to win the title. Now it is you win the SEC with a 9 game schedule you have to win 3 or 4 more games to win the title.

Now, all conferences have to deal wirh the same playoff format but none of those other conferences have conference schedules anywhere near as difficult. This is the definition of shooting yourselves in the foot.

When the receiver turned to catch the ball he broke stride and placed his hands down by his hips, expecting the ball to land there, because it was under thrown.

The interception was made by the corner back that was trailing the WR by about 5 yards because the ball was under thrown.

If Beck makes an accurate throw it's a TD. It was a really bad throw at a critical point.

I don't care what the coverage was. The ball was so far underthrown the reciever didn't even make a play in the ball.

NIL Pocket Book

Serious question, what does our available NIL dollars look like compared to other top schools? I think it's lower but I'm not positive.

I ask because it looks to be might be creating a talent decay as time goes on.

I just read that Cuban gave IU a lot of money last year to feed the transfer portal and he just did it again in 2026.

Does Georgia have any deep pocket Alumni that supports our NIL?
Kirby answered that question about TV in his presser. Said they want to play the game when they want to and go at the pace they want to. Basically he said he didn't want someone else dictating the time, commercial breaks, etc.
The expanded playoff doesn't have me jaded. It needs to be tweaked in terms of who gets in and byes but beyond that it's fine.

The transfer portal and NIL, on the other hand.

About the offense, I do think a leadership void was a big problem. I hope someone or some group step up from that perspective. It makes me also wonder how transfers in and out, the lack of continuity, is impacting the culture. Kirby's Dawgs are known for outworking other teams during the week. I hope that's still the case.
mRNA might be helpful and useful in future applications. I don't think that was really ever the issue. The issue was that they fast tracked a "vaccine" (it isn't really a vaccine) without proper testing. They will say that was necessary. But the vehicle used in the vaccine is the Spike Protien which has been proven to cause inflammation and damage to cells including to the heart muscle. So you're introducing something to the body that causes damage with hopes of preventing a COVID infection.

This is probably why there were so many adverse reactions including myocarditis.

Just saying and more of a general observation ... bios and resumes don't highlight failures.

Everyone seems to fall into either the it's Bobo's fault or it's not Bobo's fault camp, it's the players. I have a few thoughts on this ...

1. Isn't it the Coaches job to maximize the talents and abilities of the players he is coaching? What does it say if an entire position group of players regresses from one season to the next?

2. Ignoring the questions around execution, Bobo's play calling seemed way to predictable for my tastes. The poor execution tied to predictability leads to much lower chances for success.
He's Kirby's best friend. I don't think anything happens without Bobo being on board with the decision.
I missed that. Look, I don't have a side in this whole thing. Beck seems like a douche. That's as far as I'll go. That kind of behavior by UGA, if that was intentional, seems petty though.
Or maybe they chose to focus on players coming back in 2025. I don't think I saw Etienne either. Definitely saw Frazier.
They aren't getting NIL money. By that I mean there are very few players that are getting marketing deals based on their Name, Image and Likeness. What is happening now is doner money is getting funneled into large funds, "collectives", and players are literally getting paid signing bonuses to sign/ play at that school.

So, while NIL cannot be regulated, the above which is what is actually happening absolutely can.

And the player can still seek NIL marketing deals on the side.

That and some restrictions on transfers.

Not a fan of where college football is now. Worse than the pros, IMO, with the NIL and the Portal with no guardrails.

Interesting read mostly rehashing what was discussed here but adding some stats to back it up.
I don't know anything or have any inside info. I will say this ... I think women like his influencer girlfriend are trouble. I would not be surprised if she was chirping in his ear all year that this and that are the cause of all his problems. This would make any normal person, perhaps subconsciously, start to resent the perceived causes of his problems. In other words, it could have created a divide between him and the WRs, if that is who she was chirping about, or the OL, if it was about protection.

All I'm saying is it wouldn't be the first time a woman has messed up a dudes head.
Drew Brees wasn't tall either. But successful qbs that are short and not very mobile are very rare. The good ones have great abilities to find throwing lanes and alter arm angle to overcome the lack of height.
Stetson was special. Took a little while for coaches and everyone to realize it but he was. Comparisons to him will be hard to match. Besides height, dude had it all in spades.

Beck isn’t perfect, but he did not earn the vileness he has been treated with by our fans. Y’all just need to let it go.

I agree with that. You have to admit though, there is just something about him that doesn't add up.
