No. I think I heard the Academy and a pawn shop had their windows broken but that’s it as far as I can tell (nothing stolen). Most of the protestors downtown seem to have cleared out when the boogaloos showed up and any who remained were forced out with tear gas around 10pm. Haven’t heard of any defacement to the Arch or other monuments downtown or on campus.

Savannah was super peaceful and inspiring. Lotta different people coming together. I think one little spat in city market some dipshit from out of town thought he could instigate a riot. Got his arse kicked and arrested and people went back to a peaceful protest.

I did see a video where either it was said or maybe it was in the comments that they had defaced the Baldwin statue. Didn’t hear anything about the arch.
So the protestors are now claiming that it’s the far-right extremists (bugaloos) that are infiltrating these demonstrations and trying to incite violence. So which is is it? White supremacists or George Soros? Both?

It’s both. This is bringing out all the shitbirds from both sides. Sad, too, because there have been some really great moments during the legitimate protests of cops and black citizens coming together and having meaningful dialogue. And then the sun goes down and it all turns to shite again under the cover of night

I don’t think there needs to be a conspiracy to explain that people who want to break shite and do damage and piss off those with whom they ideologically defer are going to seize opportunities like this to do it. What those of us watching from home need to realize is that there is a difference between those who are spending all day protesting in a legal manner and the assholes who are showing up 2 hours before curfew to start shite. The majority is participating in the former but the latter is loudest.

Not one shred of evidence "right wing extremist" were involved or were the people getting arrested.
It would be pretty difficult for any of em to blend in with the BLM or ANTIFA folks.

This is true, but in a way I feel like it might be even worse than that. I think many of the violent looters aren’t even ideological. Sure there’s commies and weirdos, etc. but I’d bet a lot of the brick through glass assholes don’t have much passionate ideology at all.
They come from broken homes, never had a girlfriend, etc. and see this as a chance to shake their fist at the world. Pathetic, and especially shitty to earnest older black people who are legitimately hurt and are taking mature peaceful action.

The good news is, most of them have ADD and will lose focus as they run out of things to throw bricks at. These kids aren’t dumb enough to just walk into the suburbs and continue this shite. At least in major cities, they can show up as the actual protests wrap up and get themselves lumped in with the protestors, but no protestors are marching in neighborhoods outside of urban areas, because why? This will go on a few days and then fizzle. Unfortunately for the people protesting, the next victim will be their message because they didn’t do enough to separate themselves from those wackos.

That’s six more open carrying individuals than were present in the rest of the crowd. Just saying, they showed up and ACC decided they’d shut it all down before anyone decided to get tense which was the right call.
