Lost a lifelong Dawg yesterday - and dems gained a voter

My dad died after his 3 week battle with Covid.
Went into the hospital breathing - 4 days of CPAP and steroids and they vented him - covid wards he was in there all alone. They put him on a vent and it went all downhill from there - not a single positive update post venting him. His lungs basically quit and then his kidneys gave out followed by his heart. Was an absolute nightmare start to finish.
I'll be pouring one out for him tonight.

Prayers for you and yours on this saddest of times. My fiancé just lost a dear friend in the same fashion. It’s a helpless feeling.

So sorry for your loss bud. May he rest in peace. Lost my dad last November to covid as well. Sucks.
Intubations don't have great outcomes. They must have really have not seen another way around.
