Don't be jealous because he left Athens. Kid played hard.

Not about jealousy. I've always jumped in to support him and wished him well.

But the question is regarding the impact of that last game and specifically the last play.

Unfortunately, it seemed to cement the narrative that he is an interception machine.
True... or holding his head in his hands when Indiana was moving the ball down the field.
Having a QB with a killer instinct vs one without is priceless.

Beck's draft stock and final play..

How much did the last play impact his draft stock?
If it were a completed pass resulting in a touchdown, where would he be drafted vs the interception he threw?

I'm thinking that play cost him a few million $s
So the question is... what happens to HS QBs if no one chases and develops them?

They were doing all the small things right, and we were doing the small things wrong.

The first sign of trouble for me was when we missed our field goal, and they made their 50+ yarder.

Ole Miss was just more dialed in.
Other than Monken, McConkey and Bowers also left the program :dunno: :dunno:
I think vs Tech, he had a bad night.
Last night, I'm not sure if it was him or if our play calling was off.

Gunner can be elite, as we saw in fourth quarter vs Ole Miss in the regular season.
Maybe next year we try and lose a game, so we don't get the bye? lol

Right here dude.
Winning and losing is part of the game.
The team that played better won last night.
And UGA is still the SEC champion... :doublebird:

Nothing to be ashamed of.
Not that its the only factor, but I don't think the long layoff before the game can be ignored.

How do you rate this season?

I know we're all disappointed that we won't be moving forward in the CFP, but I imagine we'll end the year ranked 5th or 6th when all is said and done

Based on this team's grit and fight, I really thought we had a chance to win it all. But for me, the team we saw in the SEC final didn't show up, and we got beat by a team that did show up.

I would say that this was a GOOD season, and we basically lost twice with two field goals separating us from wins. And we won the SEC.

But Kirby has some fixing to do. And thanks to Gunner & Co. for putting up a strong effort this season.

Ole Miss did play better, but the assertion is that the Dawgs would have played better if we weren’t rusty.

This seemed to be a team with a different mindset than the SEC final. And our offense looked out of sync.

Kirby must have called Deboer for advice.
They seem to be using the same analytics
Yeah that “targeting” call was spot on ??
Yup, he had the hot hand, and we didn’t have an answer.

He won the game for them.

So you expect the press to be accurate?

Bama scoreless in 5 out of 6

He can’t believe the play calls by Alabama lmao

And neither can most sane people watching the game.
