LINK this makes no sense to me coming that Pickens has declared for the draft AD Mitchell and Burton were probably going to be the main targets along With Jackson and Rosemy-Jacksaint in my opinion so why in the world would he leave?

Somebody needs to talk sense into him. He would be the featured WR next year.

Some of these guys (In my opinion incorrectly) believe that putting up stats is what will get them drafted. Burton is talented.

Probably realizes he's too talented to get 26 receptions in a year.

It’s gotta be related to volume and targets. He probably isn’t too happy with the rotations and lack of overall action throughout the game.

Felt like he only got a handful of throws a game, but that’s just my shitty memory so someone can correct me with actual stats

That doesn’t count for a lot with our historical and recent WR production, particularly with how much Bowers will be featured.

For context, UGA has had one 1,000 yard receiver in program history. Alabama had two just this season.

His position coach just left (not that it has much to do with it)

Our WR corps is pretty loaded and we rotate them a hell of a lot.

Lets' just hold onto Kearis and Big 0

Yep, he'll go to a team that throws the ball more and put up 50+ catches and 1000 yards barring injury

How many games did he miss for injury?

Also us blowing out basically everyone doesn't help.

Whatever, if we can keep Arian healthy, Brock, Ladd, and AD is still pretty good. Probably add in the portal now too.

A 7-5 record and a Music City Bowl appearance will look good on his resume.

How so?Look at the numbers Bama WR's put up the last 2 years and look at where they're getting or going to get drafted.Or the LSU WR's from '19.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Kearis enter at this point

I would rather lose Kearis than Burton any day. Burton was turning into a beast by the second half of the year.

I wonder if he made this decision before or after Stet said he'd be back. If I was a WR, I'd get the frick outta Dodge, too.
