Actually Saban talked about this in his post game interview. Changed to 4 down lineman and went to 2 high safety’s....

The defense was fine, we gave up 27 points once and that was to Bama. Can’t expect to hold every opponent under under 20 points every weekend and win. Eventually they will have a bad day or you are going to run into a really good team....

21 passes were thrown 5 yards or less down field while we had 4 passes go for more than 15 yards down field. The problem is definitely not Beck. We are way to talented at our skill positions for this to be our offensive game plan....
