Franks has passed for 4 TDs this year. 2 of those were to uncovered receivers in the Ky. game. He has thrown 3 Ints. Franks is at 7.5 ypa on 17.7 passes per game.
Georgia should definitely force him to beat us through the air.
Florida averages only 4,5 ypc running the ball, so we should stuff their run game.
Kirby Smart has played in the WLOCP and knows the importance and the need of winning the game. I think Richt never bought into the need to win this game and didn't get the team into the mindset of win or die. We are now in a new era.

We should win by at least 2 touchdowns. Their defense is not as good as it has been in previous seasons and their offense still sucks.

And a third one came when Tennessee let someone get behind them on a Hail Mary

I disagree with the first part. Definitely agree with the last part.

I'd be happy if Florida attempts to win the game in the air. We might have issues, but I like our chances when opponents forget about the run game.

That was actually a called play and a great pass by Franks. He couldn't throw it to the end zone so he had to hit the WR short and the DB just got beat. Poor coaching to let the WR get past the DB.

*Knock on wood*

But I feel like Missouri getting some big chunk plays through the air on us was exactly what the DBs needed going into the bye week. Hopefully they'll iron out the communication issues and be ready to go lockdown mode incase the gators are tempted to go over the top. As long as the run game is stuffed I like our odds.

Cmon man. I’m not even close to being a Richt apologist but this is just stupid

Two words Treon Harris. If they can beat us twice with him then Franks should head shoulders above the curve. That being said this team is a better bunch of Dawgs that can hopefully keep rolling!

Treon Harris never beat us....the run game did. Florida's run game cannot beat us. It's the best part of their offense, but it is only good and not great. Our run defense is excellent, unless they just lay down.

If Florida beats us Saturday then there is a good chance we have Mark Richt II.

That was my point. If they beat us with him they can beat us with Franks. They ran the same plays over and over and we didn't stop it then on a handful of plays Treon threw and connected. I just hope these guys are ready to play physical. Like Richard Sammuel physical. That dude put the team on his shoulders and ran over UF!

Go Dawgs

IN 2014 he threw for just under 30 yards on 6 attempts and here is the stats in 2015.
Matchup UGA on the left UF on the right
1st Downs 12 15
3rd down efficiency 2-12 7-16
4th down efficiency 0-2 0-1
Total Yards 223 413
Passing 154 155
Comp-Att 15-34 8-19
Yards per pass 4.5 8.2
Interceptions thrown 4 0
Rushing 69 258
Rushing Attempts 22 48
Yards per rush 3.1 5.4
Penalties 3-20 8-74
Turnovers 5 1
Fumbles lost 1 1
Interceptions thrown

For the last time people, previous years have no relevance on this game and this team.

The revelanxe is that UF has beat us with less talent than they have now so don't discount their current passing game. So I think we were saying the same thing just in a different way. I really hope they put the past away and move on to bigger better things and so far this team has seemed good at doing that.

After watching their last couple of games, Florida doesn't look nearly as hapless as seems to be the consensus among our fans. They have several good RB's and WR's, and Franks is starting to look a lot more comfortable. New era or not, Florida and Auburn will be tough challenges.

Kirbs came in to the team meeting after the bye and said six words, "If you have beaten Florida stand".

Six guys in the whole team stood up. That's it.

Players said that is all they needed to get revved up! Back to business guys we have a call to action!!!

I will not be able to rest well until we have a W and the score is 56-0.

I want it to be 63-3 Georgia

Just win big! Record day for both Offense and Defense.

That contradicts this:

quote:

Kirby Smart stood before his Georgia football team, as he usually does at team meetings, and took a poll: Everyone in here who has beaten Florida, Smart asked them, please stand up. There were a few awkward moments. Nobody stood.

Which one is correct?

There are a few guys on the team who were around in 2013. Bellamy, Reggie Carter, Bynum, etc. Not sure if any of them made that trip.

Well, we won in 2013, so any Redshirt Seniors would've beaten them.

John Atkins
Davin Bellamy
Aulden Bynum
Aaron Davis
Jordan Davis
Trent Frix
Matthew Hurzwurm
Tim Hill
Cameron Nziazalek
Brice Ramsey
Thomas Swilley

Those are our RS Sr's, and I imagine several of those are transfers or weren't on the travel squad, so yeah, six sounds about right.
