Now NC State’s best player on offense AND defense are sitting the game out.

Looks like we open at -3 and now we're at -4.5 or -5. I wonder if it moved due to betting or the players being out.

I think the perception that they thrived on an incredibly weak schedule has more to do with it. We have 3 FPI top 30 wins, NCST has none. Their best win was Boston College at home by 5 points. The two good teams they played (Clemson and Syracuse) absolutely thrashed their defense.

I still worry that we cannot stop the passing game. Even though they’re down 1 ACC widenout they still have another plus a QB and 2 OL. Their offense is going to force us to score some points. I feel good about the over on ~58.

Don’t be surprised if their QB sits out too.

That game was so bad. Biggest mistake of my life was not buying gloves off the guy in front of the stadium. Kept drinking beers to try and warm up.

I hope he does. After watching a few of their games this dude scares the hell out of me. I can see why he's a big time NFL prospect. He throws a tight spiral, can place the ball anywhere he needs, and is very effective throwing on the run. He crushes teams with back shoulder throws along the sideline. He will eat up our secondary. While they lost Harmon their other WRs are no joke either. Keeping their offense off the field will be what wins or loses the game.

NC State offensive coordinator Eli Drinkwitz is the new head coach at Appalachian State
, which naturally leads to questions about the Wolfpack’s direction on offense moving forward. Head coach Dave Doeren released a statement Thursday morning congratulating Drink on the new gig while also making clear that he isn’t planning on shaking up the offense:
