Checking out Boyd's World RPI Needs and it is showing we need 10 more wins to reach the top 8. That is pretty disappointing because it's pretty unlikely. It'll only take 7 to get into the top 16, but I'd like to crack the top 10 to feel safe about hosting.

Dox gave up 5 walks, so I wouldn't call that a gem. Still good enough, if the bats had been passable. They weren't. Shewmake 0-fer, for example. That's never a good sign.

That's the deal that the Southland Conference has with ESPN. We don't control where our away games end up on television.

Get used to it. This is only the beginning of ESPN migrating content to ESPN+. It's going to happen to the SEC eventually too.

It seems like tough conditions. The announcers want to assure us how great their field is but ffs there is a mudpit on the mound and Dox was noticeably slipping.

So RPI up to 13. Win the series vs Arky and we should be firmly in the host discussion. Lose it and we are almost certainly a 2 seed barring a significant run in the SEC tourney.
No pressure on the series or anything. And Asa Lacy will be suspended for it so he will not pitch.
