It wasn’t like that at the start of the game. There were empty seats but not like that. It was 38-7 at the half and 100 degrees. I probably would have bolted too.

Our fans did the same. 35-3 cupcake and baking in Sanford. Can't blame them.

I think he's actually trying to defend USC indirectly.
The stadium was packed at kickoff. Emptied out before halftime when it was a blowout. 100 degrees

If there were betting lines on attendance I would’ve bet the house that upper deck was gonna be a barren wasteland.

Meh. When that pic was taken it was 38-10 in the 3rd Q, 100 degrees out, and we were playing an AAC opponent. Not a surprise.

Well I was a student at Alabama in the pre-Saban days and it was packed then too. Like it was today before the blowout.

To be fair... He is a fan of all schools in places he considers cool cities.
That would be USC, Washington, Texas, Miami.
He considers normal college towns beneath him. They just aren't trendy and hip enough for a guy like Cowherd.

Also this is wrong. Alabama had over 80k seats for a decade before Saban when Legion Field was still the primary stadium.
Alabama added roughly 20k since Saban.
20k in 100k stadium isn't "half the stadium."
