Auburn had the ball at the 20 and got a 15 yard pi and they put the ball on the 5. I've never seen that before. It's always half the distance

After hearing about the blown PI call vs Bama last week, SEC refs are making up for it this week....

Exactly what Florida did against your Gamecocks.
UGA literally took it easy this week in practice because they were "emotionally drained" (Kirby's words) after the Bama game. They took their pads off Mknday and had a light walk through Thursday. They just knew they could roll the ball out and physically dominate a vastly inferior opponent.

Being an AU fan for 45 years, and particularly the last 10 years, I still think we are losing this game. Won't be convinced otherwise until the clock runs out.

Number of Yards
When a defensive pass interference occurs in the NFL, the ball is placed at the spot of the foul. If the penalty occurs in the end zone, the ball will be placed on the 1 yard line. For college football, the penalty is the lesser of 15 yards and the spot of the foul. If the penalty occurs in the end zone the ball is placed on the 2 yard line. Both the NFL and College also award an automatic first down. On the offensive side the NFL has a 10 yard penalty and College has a 15 yard penalty.
