Check out his resume and consider the support from KD and the former players. Not necessarily a home run but look at his resume.

I think the disappointment I have in our fans is the way they talk about coaches/players when we they are struggling. I am excited about the commitment to excellence and actually think you are spot on bringing up CDC. But some day he may make a bad hire or two and the. He will be on the chopping block in some Texas fans heads. Type five programs deserve top five fans who are there through thick or thin until the AD actually makes the change. Just a perspective from a fellow Longhorn alum.

Arkansas Jayhole.
My pick. Coaching for several years in the NBA. Led South Sudan to first ever Olympic Games. He is a Longhorn. After making Jay Wright say no. ; )
Excited about the next big stage game in Columbus. We shall see.

Hey Aggie Bob. You won tonight. : ) Seriously we have fans that pull for us to lose when they want a coach fired or player benched. It is really frustrating as an alum who can’t fathom anything but supporting the kids that put on the burnt orange. That includes academics and life as well. Do Aggies do the same type of things? I have been in Oregon for 12 years and forgot what Aggies are like.
The Horns wore them down for you. ; ) One of the few hoops games I have watched and man they are long and fast and deep.
What programs are they most known for at U of A? (Alabama)

Might add the Rants obsession with hating Texas if you want a viable list.

I asked because the Ags I have been exposed to are pretty intense about being an Aggie. I think he is an amazing coach (Choice) and if Cambell had a short list and is like many Ags I have encountered then yeah. Why not kill two birds…

Smart Aggie Move

Lions hire Tashard Choice from Horns. Coincidence…. ?? Campbell is a great coach. Will miss choice. Will be interesting to see how this plays out as we hire someone else’s coach.
It is a great rivalry. Especially when both schools are on the up.

Tuck Farkansas ; )
Looking forward to our game in August. Are the Buckeye fans excited?
I went to a game in 98. The Horns upset them and ended a 47 game win streak. They gave our team a standing ovation. They are the kindest fans I have ever met. Worst experience probably Buckeyes. They trashed Austin areas after our game with them. My wife is a UM alum and has shared similar experiences. I met the first Buckeye I really like which really shapes one’s opinion of a fan base. I have heard stories about Arky and how they treated our fans, players, and band members during the SWC days. Their glory days in football. I met a band member from UT who said their bus was refused gas and had to reroute through Oklahoma to fuel up. Also said the had older grandma types spitting on them….with tobacco in their mouth. I am hoping to make some road trips in the coming years to have a more educated opinion. No comment on Aggie. They were good when I was in school and I sat alone next to them. Anyways… have a good night all!
It would be a bit of a movie ending if they win after being runner up and losing their coach to a rival. I am really looking forward to the baseball season. Have always felt like Texas is a better fit in the SEC for baseball. The SEC is a conference that has great baseball history and thus it actually matters.
Aging like milk in the sun. Kind of reminds me of Zip it Blondie the other night except Notre Dame still lost. Oh sorry about that I didn’t mean to bring up football.
Now I would say UT = Tennessee. : )
