You seem to think your opinion matters, here.

Petty opinions can be reserved for the rant (mine, too). Especially considering the fact that Baker won the award.

Assume you meant Delpit and i personally think he shouldve won it this year. He was the best db i saw all year. Baker, Williams and Murphy all had a claim also. Greedy lost it during the Bama and TAM games.

He was a beast against UGA this season. Best DB we played against all year.

Davis was a 2* because he was from a small school and didn’t camp but played every single varsity sport at his HS (which is why UGA offered him).

Pollack was a 3* Fullback in HS

Tim Jennings only other offer was South Carolina State

Deandre Baker is the most recent 3* turned award winner/all American

With all due respect to Delpit and Williams, Deandre Baker hasn’t given up a TD in coverage in 28 games and that include 2 games against Alabama and a game against Oklahoma, plus 2 games against Drew Lock

Baker was by far the best CB in college football last season.

David Pollack 3* fullback moved to DL

He played DL in HS and was the Gwinnett County DL of the year twice.

He may have been a 3 star but was recruited by by all the big time programs including:Clemson,Auburn,Ohio State,UF and Auburn.

All his rewards in HS were as DL and thats what he was primarily recruited as

I think David Pollack was UGA's most productive 3* ever. Pollack had the highest motor as a edge rusher in school history.

He was a first round draft pick for the Ravens.
Although I don’t believe he starts

Josh Allen was a 2*
Bunchy Stallings was a 2*
Wesley Woodyard was a 3*
Danny Trevathan was a 2*
Benny Snell was a 3*
Randall Cobb was a 2* (bumped to 3* late)
Bud Dupree was a 3*

For future folks that will probably be big for UK next season:

Calvin Taylor was completely unranked
Jamar "Boogie" Watson was a low 3*/2*

Pollack, Davis and Odell Thurman were all 3 stars.

Baker was a 3 star.

Tra Battle is another. Played safety in the NFL at 173 pounds soaking wet.

Lamont Gaillard

Davin Bellamy

David Andrews- starting Center for world champs

Chris Conley- current Chiefs WR

Ben Jones- veteran NFL offensive lineman

Clint Boling- vet NFL offensive lineman

Quentin Moses- terror to opposing QBs. RIP. Died trying to save friends in a house fire.

Right off top of my head Grady Jarrett was a very low 3*. Only had 3 offers I believe. Just got franchised tagged by falcons.

Another falcon Vic Beasley was a 2* TE when he got on Clemson’s campus. Only weight about 215. Ostarine is some serious stuff

IIRC, rivals use to only go to 4* til 2003? Sometime in the early 2000s?

Conley was a composite 4 star. Right there on the cusp.
