I don't follow National recruiting, honestly. Pretty much follow southeastern prospects and a few big national guys that's it.

Oh great. There's a new article up on Rivals about Will Latu possibly visiting FSU. Sounds like he's all but decommitted from us. Doesn't feel the same vibe about AU that he once did.

There is an article on the USF 247 page that mentions Latu and says he was formerly committed to AU. Posted 11 days ago but on his recruit page, it still shows committed.

Yeah, I do too. I went over there but of course couldnt see anything without a membership.
Im thinking about Rivals or Scout for Bama to go with my BOL membership but dont know. Are any of them better than the other or are they even worth fooling with?

The only thing TideSports brings to the table is the ability to write articles. They really don't drop that much recruiting info(around 1 nugget thread a month) and all the insiders are members of both boards anyway.
So if you you want professional articles, then yes. If you are looking for more recruiting info, not really. You can read other sites' articles, but I assume you can do that on any recruiting site...

Sounds like AU dropped him. I do think it is bush league if we didn't tell him and just sent a message by not calling him anymore.

two sides to every story... regardless, i wasn't all that impressed with taking a JUCO OL who can't get here until mid Summer....
granted, it's looking like we'll have plenty of room to take a guy... unless we starting seriously hitting up the backup plans.

JLee said he might not qualify at all, so we are keeping minimum contact with him. He doesn't expect us to sign him.
