I really think Bama is hurting themselves with all of these top recruits.
I picture all the coaches in the country looking like this after all the Bama announcements.

Meanwhile, back in Auburn, some coaches need to be hired so we can actually land some recruits...yes, I am impatient.

With his mom's reaction, I still would not be surprised if he switches to LSU. Momma gets her way dammit
Regardless, this class is just disgusting. hopefully we can salvage this class and next year should be pretty sick.

We're just outside the top10 right now in both sites, but we have a ton of spots left (only 16 commits so far). So, plenty of room to move up and sign some more talented players.
I know we need to get an OC and DC hired to get the ball rolling once again.
Who are we going after and who are we expected to land?
Many AU fans are expecting a thud ending to this class.... As of right now, we have a ton of talent coming in the 16 commits so far.

Try to be patient, we just need to finish top 10... Chiz has put together the best recruiting classes in Auburn history... Below is the historical Rivals rankings, during the last three years, Auburn always gets a surprise or two, plus Auburn has finished strong.
Rankings Below are RIVALS
2002 (6)
2003 (11)
2004 (21)
2005 (13)
2006 (10)
2007 (7)
2008 (20)
2009 (19) (Chiz - Tubs combined class)
2010 (4)
2011 (7)
2012 (Currently 12, with 9 more players to go).

With 9 slots to go I would hope we would move up in the rankings. I am really not worried to be honest.

I'm not either. What people are failing to realize is this is probably our highest "quality" class so far, we just need to build up the quantity. Even if we close out with all 3* prospects, we will probably still have a top 10 class on most sites. maybe top 12. Woe is us

Auburn will finish with some quality players...
The RB, I'Tavius Mathers, that decommitted from Ole Miss is visiting Auburn and we have a solid shot at him. He is a 4 star on Rivals. We have NOT offered yet.

I'm very curious about him. Nothing just stands out about him as a player, but he's had very solid production. Reminds me a lot of Kenny Irons with his running style

I hope we land him. I'd feel much better after losing TJ and Dyer. He's a great backup plan. And, IMO, there's no way Vandy will steal him from us.

I think you have to have a paid subscription to view, but in this interview, Dee Liner states that he has been an Auburn fan since he was a kid and really enjoys the Auburn coaches. He specifically mentions Coach Pelton and Coach Lolley. He will be taking other visits to Tennessee, Bama, and LSU to try and get to know their coaches better.
I like the part where he mentions that he grew up an Auburn fan.

I hope thats true. I fear to believe any kid who says he grew up a fan of any team these days.
