“True PGs” are a dying breed. Every guard needs to be able to shoot and score. Tahaad is fine at handling the ball and makes good passes… it’s the scoring he’s struggling with.

I think yall are underestimating what “lower rated” high school recruits think of themselves. They all still think that they’re gonna make it big… they’ll optimize their profitability just like everyone else is.
I don’t blame them, that’s the system… no one is hanging around for yrs for little or no money to get “developed”.

Tennessee has been split for years… Brentwood Academy sued the TSSAA a few decades ago and the case made it all the way to the SCOTUS.
But the issue about size of fanbases is legit… nobody wants to play a loaded private school bc the gates usually suck… they don’t bring fans.

In defense of our secondary, Baylor wasn’t efficient in the passing game… 20+ incompletions… it was some critical failures in 3rd/4th and long situations and the poor tackling that killed them.

I’ll take BU 27-24… I think this auburn team will get better as season goes on… but drop a close road game to a good team.

It was bigish… but the division split in 92 changed the dynamic.
It was typically on the 3rd Saturday in October… same as bama UT. Made for a great sec weekend
