Are we talking in person? If so...

2013 Iron Bowl
1994 Auburn v LSU
2013 Auburn v Texas A&M
2014 BCS Championship Game (even though we lost)

Haven’t really been a fan of his either. I’ll say this though, he hasn’t really had a chance to do a memorable call yet because of the shite product we put on the field. It wasn’t until RB’s “Go Crazy Cadillac” call that he really became his own man and not a replacement for Fyffe.
3-14 in last 17.

8 of those losses have been by 20+ points

Remember when the series was even and the points were even? Feels like the damn 90's at this point.

Why does our offense always shite the bed in the playoffs under Snit?

Been an issue forever. Doesn't matter who the manager is or who the players are. It's freakin' crazy and as constant as death and taxes.

Compliance issue having to do with getting a car loaned to him by a booster. The decision is out of Harsin’s hands right now.
Lots of chatter that he was fired during halftime and did not coach the 2nd half.

If you are picture quality and sound quality obsessed, try and find an Oppo. We’ve got a 203 in the living room and 205 in our theater. They are hands down still the best IMO.

If you don’t want to spend that much on one, I’d go with the Sony UBP-X800.

2002 Land Rover Discovery
2003 BMW 530i
2006 BMW M5
2013 BMW 550i
2017 Maserati Quattroporte
2020 Range Rover

One positive I found this year as we slogged through another avg shitastic football season: If Bama is playing the morning or 2:30 game, I can play golf at most clubs around Birmingham and nearly have the course to myself. It’s very relaxing and good opportunity to get some practice in during real world situations on the course.

Would you consider a planar speaker like Maggies or Martin Logan? They can be really addictive when set up correctly.

I have fiddled with planars before. Wasn't really my cup of tea given the music I listen to. Awesome suggestion though.

I think being blown away is all about imaging and soundstange with a punchy sound that is great for rock & roll. 70's hard rock through 90's alternative. I do love my B&W's, but they def have a house sound which tends to be extremely cold and analytical. They are great for mixing music.

Assuming you get +/-$12K for the B&W if traded in to a dealer, what is your total budget for a new pair?

I can get 17k from my dealer for them. I am looking to go around 25k per pair. I am in Birmingham.
Marco, it's been a while since we chatted on here about home audio. You seem to have a lot of experience with different brands, so would love your thoughts.

I have been a B&W fanboy ever since my first a pair of speakers I bought back in college...a pair of CDM7SE's all the way until the 802D3's and matching speakers for the home theater I have now. Over the last few months, I have had the itch to look at changing manufacturers if I find something that blows me away. I would likely trade in my 802's, so staying in that general price range is needed.

I used to hae Focal speakers in my car and loved them, so I was eyeing the Sopra 3's. Have you had much experience with them? I am open to suggestions to what else should be on my radar. Perhaps the Magico A5's?

Like you ,I am also a McIntosh guy, so all of that is staying the same for power and processing. Just to refresh your memory to know what we are working with it's:

MC452 for fronts
MC303 for center and rears
MC207 for sides, Atmos (front & rear), and my office speakers
MX123 processor for HT
C2700 for 2 channel listening

Can't wait to hear your thoughts and suggestions and to dig into this.
Thanks. Is it on this board?

Bumping my old thread. I decided to stretch my budget a bit when I saw this AP on chron24. I have been looking for about a month and for whatever reason this one reached out and grabbed me. We came to an agreement on price this evening. Given the price and the age, I was sure to get the service records and the owner has them and has been serviced every 5 years like clockwork.

What's wild is the wife of the slain trooper is suing and sounds like she should. Check this out:

"According to Attorney Sam Bregman, who is representing Gabriella Jarrott, Officer Jarrott was not informed of the situation he was walking into.

“Homeland Security agents asked Officer Jarrott to pull over a car, when they knew the occupant of the vehicle was a known violent felon with semi automatic weapons and large amount of drugs inside the vehicle, they did so without telling Officer Jarrott of any of this,” Bregman said.

Bregman said the family of Officer Jarrott wants to hold Homeland Security and New Mexico State Police responsible for omissions that may have led to his death."

Maybe it’s just me but why on earth is the LAGOP’s political director 22 years old?

Well, judging by his bio, it doesn't seem like he was doing the work of a "legit" Political Director you would find at a national committee, big time state party, or campaign.
Because he didn't post in the thread already discussing this shite in depth?
