Kid’s brother is on the team and it’s a 30 minute drive for his family. This isn’t some kid from Florida that chose ole miss over bama or uga. I’ll be shocked if we get him but keeping a Mississippi kid in Mississippi doesn’t require excessive cheating

what a terrible decision if these two decide to go to OM. Just terrible.

Exactly! With all the cheating, getting 5star recruits from all over the place and still can’t win a division title much less an SEC title! Hey but created the bungee jumping from hotel windows, without the rope lol

How’s it a terrible decision he’s going to college with his brother will get a degree and a chance to play at the next level it would shock you how few recruits give a shite about winning and such

This is true for LSU as well over the past 5-6 years.

I don't think it's a terrible decision for Dean. Yes, he would probably get better LB coaching at Bama, UGA or LSU, but he's good enough to get draft high going anywhere.
But with Jones, he's a super raw prospect that needs alot of good coaching. LSU is going to give that to him more than Ole Miss would. Obviously I'm biased, but Corey Raymond's track record speaks for itself.

It’s a pretty terrible decision for Dean. You could go to UGA, Bama or LSU all of who have highly touted linebackers and coaches.
Or you could go to ole miss on a defense that couldn’t stop some high schools. He’s talented enough it may not matter, but it’s beyond a head scratcher.

Well you could just leave LSU out when talking about dean. Yall had about the same chance to land him as the citadel did.

I really want him but think Ole Miss lands him. I’d let this kid audition for punt returner as well. I think 2/3 years from now he’s going to be a great player.
Stingley will be our stud returner.

Aranda isn’t?
ETA: even if I were just talking headcoaches that makes his decision to go ole miss more mind boggling over Bama or UGA

Immediate playing time may have something to do with it. Just a shot in the dark, but anyone OM recruits on the defensive side of the ball will compete for a job day one.

I thought this kid was pretty raw, though.

I disagree. A kid Dean's size is looking at breaking down physically at OM. See CJ Johnson: AA LB who gets physically ruined because OM couldn't protect him .

This is the most hilarious take I’ve seen on this board ever. You’re getting creative atleast
