Some people once they get paid don't have the drive for the game because maybe they just don't love it anymore and want to coast into retirement. He got his bag and is filthy rich and young and can do whatever he wants now. If that means not playing basketball, so be it. Definitely a waste for sure. Would have been a fun player to see at his ceiling.

Kimmel is a tool so I don't really feel bad. Him framing and convincing the audience that the shooter was MAGA is his opinion and for all purposes wrong. If ABC disagreed with how he portrayed this incident and situation, then it's their prerogative to handle it. While Kimmel is rightful to have his opinion and free speech, when you use the platform of your employer to use it then you have to expect potential consequences.
