50 dollars more a month, knock off several years, and plan to stay forever. This is an easy decision. The closing costs will be minimal for a forever home.

Men's Basketball is a whole lot of fun when you have a good coach and team. Just because it's tough to be a fan in the down years doesn't mean it never was.

It almost feels intentional with just how badly things have been handled.

Always great reading these leading up to the start of the season. Many thanks for doing this.

Well he's arguably the best coach in the country, getting the best support in the country, coming off of a national championship and primed for another run. It's a well oiled machine for a guy that works as hard as anyone at LSU. It's good to see him grow here as a more personable coach off the field, too.
ETA: I never thought it could be possible again, but Jay very well could position himself to have a chance to make a Skip like run.

It sure why anyone has any sort of hope in this team with Mac Still here. He is gone the day after the final game of the season. Then daddy Wade is coming home thankfully. Bookmark it.

The best way to avoid that standoff was to make the LSU job unavailable. That's why McMahon got year 4. Not because the admin was pleased with the "progress" or state of the program. They weren't dumb. They could see the losing and lack of interest. But because they wanted to kick the can down the road one more year to get rid of the "Wade problem" assuming (correctly) he would get a power conf. job after last season.
If this is true, it's a slap in the face to the people that pay good money to LSU basketball to watch a crap product one more year just to spite the fanbase and somewhat save face.
It's truly shocking he is still here. He must be a great negotiator with LSU lol
Don't worry guys, Jeff Landry has got this for us.

So you thought we would figure out a way to lose also.
It's been McMahon his whole career here. You can give some passes early on with what he inherited, but this day in NIL age and the transfer portal there's no excuses to not have a somewhat competitive team on the floor if you have decent backing from the university. And I think we have some solid athletes, but reality is they are not being coached up and it's extremely obvious in games like this.
