He did. But the shot was there at like 17 yards. In hindsight, I should’ve made him wait til he picked it up. Live and learn. ...
TLDR: Bowhunting will kick you in the nuts, but it’s worth it when it doesn’t. Took my boys out for youth weekend in TN at the end of October letting my oldest attempt to kill his first deer ever with a crossbow. Saturday afternoon a scrub buck gets within 20 yards, and I gave him the green ligh...

Burris RT 1-6x24 is a fantastic option as well. I put one on my 35 REM (336) and love it. ...

Hydes are fantastic heads. These two does were taken with 66lb and 530 ish TAW and a 68# and similar setup. Buried behind in both instances. First was at 43 yards and went maybe 60. Second was at 12 yards and went down in 40. The buck was at 17 yards and maybe went 75. Hit em in the heart with anyth...

I shoot both and appreciate both. Tune your bow, like really tune your bow. It’s either tuned or it’s not. There is no such thing as a “super tune.” I have a combination of Evolution Hydes, QAD Exodus, and some Grim Reaper Fatal steels I’m curious about in two quivers for my compounds. For ...

Awesome. I’m heading to SD in a few weeks for a pheasant hunt. I left Powpow’s with his old Stevens side by side 12 ga. I’ll post a pic of it later. Gotta be a mid 70s model based on what he was telling me....
Best I figure based on the interweb searches is these are mid to late 60’s. Man, what I’d give to go back in time and have a chat with Mr. Williams, a true American badass. :USA: ...
