I am going and know about 10 others from DFW on my flight. Can't make Miami if it happens so this is it for me. Was in Oxford for game 1 and did not go to Sugar Bowl.

How logistically could he coach Ole Miss while putting together his staff, structure, players and all other personnel?

I believe he genuinely wants this team to succeed in the playoffs, but even if we ignore the optics of LSUs coach coaching ole miss, he and his staff will not be fully focused. Neither option is good, so may as well rip the bandaid.

I just don’t understand how he thinks that would be ok for him to come coach a playoff game in Oxford as the head coach of LSU next year. It would be a horrible experience for everyone. He can’t be that dumb he is just trying to look like he’s not a loser who is walking out on his team.

There is absolutely 0 chance he is staying. Don’t kid yourselves.
