We don’t have anything down low to compete with their size. Have to go small ball and pray. Their guards are too good.
And beard isn’t going to Indiana.

Basketball games go way too long. The networks need to stagger by 2:30 now because this happens all the time.

Florida is about to dominate us down low. This is an awful matchup for ole miss.

They were making some of the dumbest fouls imaginable. We can be a top 10 team if those two ever put in a consistent full game at the same time.

I may be in the minority here but I am really enjoying having both Mississippi teams good at the same time.

Malik Dia just put in a top 3 Rebel performance of all time. I’ve only been following rebel hoops since 2010, but I think you’d be hard pressed to show me more than 2 better than that.

I mean she started it.

That domestic squabble was literally the best thing to ever happen to Ole Miss basketball.
re: Anyone related to any B-17s pilots or survivors on here?
Posted by RebelliousGooner on 2/17/24 at 8:42 am
My great grandfather was a B-17 pilot. He was there in the first wave of the 8th Air Force when they were largely bombing the Uboat pens in France. He was also flying on the first raid over Germany when they bombed Wilhelmshaven.
He had completed 21 missions and was shot down by flak after a bomb run on St. Nazzaire in May of 1943. He was able to bail and spent the rest of the war in Stalag 3 then was marched to Stalag 7A.
I was lucky enough to know him well as he lived until I was in high school. My hero

My Great Grandfather was a B-17 pilot in WWII. He was in the 303rd bomb group. He was in England and participated in the 2nd ever US daylight bombing raid in Europe. Additionally he was on the first ever bombing raid of Germany which targeted the UBoat pens in Wilhelmshaven.
On his 20th mission in May of 1943 his plane was shot down after taking significant flak damage and he was able to bail out in Northern France where he was captured.
He spent the rest of the war in Stalag Luft III before being marched to Stalag Luft VII A where they were eventually liberated.
I have his bible from POW camp with a Stalag Luft VII A stamp that means a lot to me. He lived until 2008 and I was lucky enough to know him well.

re: World Series Game 5: Rangers 5 vs Dbacks 0 - FINAL (Rangers Win The World Series!!!)

I’m already uneasy the Rangers have flown out their entire front office, scouts, TV broadcast team, and other long time employees to Arizona. They did the same thing in St. Louis in 2011. They were all making their way down to the field and locker room in 2011 when David Freese and Nelson Cruz happened.
This doesn't make me uneasy - hell the Dbacks flew their whole org out for games 1 & 2, I think this is pretty customary.
Being a Rangers fan makes me uneasy.

To be fair Scott got injured later in the year and didn't do too much outside of that and the Texas punt return if I remember correctly.

Growing up in tBPIA I was sour when they moved across the street. However I've been to about 25 games in the new park now, and it has really grown on me.
Tuesday night the atmosphere was really special and I am glad there is the opportunity to have more of that next week.
I'll be there Thursday to watch the Rangers finish the sweep. It will be magic.
*Side note I was there the last game of the Astros sweep in September. Walking out then I saw 0 chance of this result.

Go stand outside the ballpark with your fingers in the air you bum. Or stop being poor.

re: Got the new Srixon Zx4s. Love them

Just got fitted yesterday for new clubs and went with the Zx5s. I’m a 11 handicap and tried the T200s, Apex and zx5s and went that route.
I’ve been playing hand me downs my whole life with a lot of gaps in the bag, so I’m super pumped for these to come in. They said 4 to 6 weeks. Going to test the patience.

You're on a work computer and can be on SECrant, but can't go to ESPN and look up a total?
