Marshall likely won't leave. He could help his draft stock a good deal by being the feature back instead of 2nd fiddle to Gurley and he likely won't be 100% to start this season. If he gets a round 3 grade then I could see him going, because he likely won't improve that, but I think he'll probably end up projected in the 5th or so.

Not to mention he and Gurley have both said they want to finish their degrees before going pro. Marshall I actually believe (gotta think the injury bug might have changed Gurley's mind on risking another season).

It is stupid to finish your degree if you are a first round pick. Cam Newton is doing it the smart way, come back a couple days a week in the spring.

Most schools pay your way though your degree if you come back anyways. Potential for injury, ruining draft stock or shortening your pro career isn' worth it at all

Depends on the culture the player comes from. Some parents and families place a very high value and emphasis on getting the degree before anything else. Marshall and Gurley's families basically said as much when they signed. Now, how that might have changed with the injury history each has had, I don't know. But I wouldn't be too surprised if either stuck it out for a fourth year either.

I would be stunned if Gurley came back. Marshall, not so much.

...actually remembered Vick Ballard, but that's the only one I can recall.

Lesean McCoy went to a military college after transferring from Miami, I think. He then ended up at Pitt.

Wasn't Brandon Jacobs a JUCO or something. I realize he didn't do a lot at AU being behind two first round picks, but he did a little something in the NFL.

Yea, both guys did.

Lesean McCoy's high school rivals profile shows him signing with Miami.

Are you sure? I've always seen this, granted it says committed and not signed.

I'm fairly certain LaSean McCoy went to prep school. He committed to Miami out of high school in 2006, something happened, he went to prep school, and then signed with Pitt in 2007.

You could have easily looked up his profile on wikipedia. Both McCoy and Fitz wen to prep/juco before attending Pitt. McCoy switched from Miami to Pitt after a coaching change

Also about Todd Gurley

Shame about Tenpenny. Going to be lost in obscurity at Bama. Could have gotten some snaps at Arkansas at least.
