He'll probably commit to Alabama soon.
Kid's a stud. Rushed for almost 2,400 yards and 34 TDs last season for the NJCAA runner ups.
Had over 300 yards in the National Championship game.
He's a beast.

Auburn's made a living out of other team's rejects.

Guys I know on the team raved about him when he was going through fall camp before his departure. He is an absolute freak and can pop defenders. Best quote was "It is like Ray Lewis but on offense"
He is also faster than people suggest
Not looking forward to playing against him

Do top programs take JUCO RBs anymore. Seems like a waste for the team more than the player.

Jovon's pretty fricking good. Sort of like recruiting Cordarrelle Patterson a few years ago. You know he's one-and-done, but that one's going to be really good.

What were the circumstances surrounding him leaving auburn? I don't remember.

His transcript was forged by a counselor at his high school... he was in fall camp for a couple days in 2012, then the story broke. He left school and went to GMA.

If Henry has a big year, I wonder if it pushes JR somewhere with a better shot at more touches.

That's a good question... and is yeldon a sure fire 3 and done guy?... at this point, probably not.

If we hadn't agreed with the NCAA to not re-recruit him, he may already committed, but we haven't even been in touch with him since all of the mess took place.

Another RB we are recruiting has said that Cristobal told him Yeldon and Drake would most likely be gone after this year. That leaves Bo Scar who could end up at receiver, Tyren Jones, Tennpenny, and Henry.

So just 3 other 5 stars to battle.

One five star and two four stars, but point taken

Drake is technically a junior in 2014. He could be a
draft guy ala Vinnie Sunseri.Posted on 2/23/14 at 5:54 pm to TTsTowel
It's pretty safe to assume two of Henry, Yeldon, Drake won't me there in 2015... who knows how it'll happen.
Jovon is definitely a one and done... he'll be draft eligible this time next year.

At least with dee hart gone, the fight for carries won't involve knives anymore. ZING!

If I were Robinson, I would look at UGA, USCe, or LSU before bama if one and done was my goal.
