If we hadn't agreed with the NCAA to not re-recruit him, he may already committed, but we haven't even been in touch with him since all of the mess took place.

What changed in the agreement not to recruit him?(serious question)
Did the NCAA suddenly realize that Memphis is a cesspool and the universities don't necessarily have to be involved in improprieties that happen there?(less than serious question)

- Gus took the Arkansas State job in 2011 before Robinson signed, left after the Peach Bowl.
- Robinson signed with Auburn anyway, went through fall practice with Loeffler as OC, left amidst grade-changing scandal unofficially affiliated with Troop and Lupe
- Enrolled in a JUCO, we made a deal with the NCAA not to sanction us as long as we don't recruit him again
- Chizik canned, December 2012. Malzahn brought back in. Fired everybody, brought in a whole new staff.
- The AD convinced the NCAA to let us take a shot at him again, since no one on the current staff was involved, especially since Malzahn was the reason he wanted to come to Auburn originally anyway.
ETA: Fixed multiple horrific tense disagreements

So turds are saying the told Jovon to wait And wouldn't let him commit like Roc. Gud GAWD they have to be the most delusional bunch of idiots on the planet. It was well documented that their top RB prospect was Jovon Robinson. Unless Bo Jackson has found the fountain of youth and is coming back to play his final year, I don't see anyone in the country that you would tell Jovon to hold off for. Hell Bone has posted he was their top guy. lmao
I'll post some funny stuff from over there when I get home. On my iPhone right now.
I said after his Alabama visit that despite what was being said elsewhere, that visit didn't go that well. Others said different, but the truth is the visit wasn't that great (and that's Jovon's words, not mine). He was all Auburn from that point forward.
Could Alabama some how, some way find a way to get him back on campus for another visit? Doubtful. Highly unlikely really, but that's the only school that Auburn has to pay attention to IMHO.

Jovon Robinson...
Absolutely love this kid as an SEC back. Big, strong, so much faster than he was in high school on film but also has wiggle and balance in space. He and Roc Thomas are a sick duo as Roc brings different things to the table as well. Best 1-2 RB combo in the SEC in a year or two. BOOM!

That's what Kiffin gets from telling every RB recruit "You'll be the next Reggie Bush"
$1 to ellitor and kkolumbo on that one

I saw one of Justin Hoke's posts saying basically the same thing. That's Lane Kiffin's go-to line, apparently, so he might want to find some new material in recruiting running backs.

Nah I like it he should keep doing it

For Alabama's sake, he should find a new line.

So he's not taking OVs to Alabama and USCw in June?
I've seen that he is in a few places.

FWIW, I don't think Kiffin is the main recruiter for RB targets. Burton Burns is usually the guy going after them.

Nope, he's shutting it down, according to his coach

Which coach? The head coach that did the interview with the AJ or the offensive coordinator that was a trainer at Auburn and coached under Pat Sullivan?
