That would require me opening up a completely separate tab with my post in it. Plus it wouldn't look any different than it does now.

Javon is a beast. I do not look forward to playing against him. Hopefully he will be a 1 and done

Drake is technically a junior in 2014. He could be adraft guy ala Vinnie Sunseri.
not really. Drake is certainly good enough to go to the league early, and he probably will. The guy is amazing.

He's good and has flashes talent, but he is pretty inconsistent and struggles to hold onto the ball. If he could stay at the #2 spot behind TJ Yeldon, and not let Derrick Henry surpass him, he could be in line to get drafted. He definitely has the talent and burst.

What TTs said. Of course Drake has the potential to be a very successful NFL player. He also has the potential to be a total bust based on his propensity for getting in the doghouse.
Not to mention it used to be Saban's policy to only recommend players to leave early who get drafted in the first round. No way Drake is drafted in the first round unless he shows more consistency and quits fumbling.
Questions also arise on how loyal Lane Kiffin will be to the status quo. Just because Yeldon got a majority of the carries last year doesn't mean he will this year. Just because Drake was second in carries last year does not mean he will be this year. Both of them will have to earn it.

Henry will certainly have a say in that as well.

meh, can be fixed.

Hardly. His YPC was 7.5 last season.

With that said it sounds like that is where he ends up. I still wish he had been good at AU. He was one of my favorite recruits, He said he will make Auburn fans forget Yeldon. I never would have guessed it might be because he unseats him as the starter...

quote:While true, it won't matter if he gets passed over by other running backs at Alabama. He's in the same situation Mario Fannin was in at Auburn. Couldn't hang on to the ball, and got surpassed by Mike Dyer and Onterio McCalebb. And Mario Fannin was a freak athlete. Now Mario Fannin is a practice squad player in the NFL and nothing more.

With all due respect to Fannin, holding onto the ball was only one of his downfalls. He had poor vision and was too stiff. Simply wasn't a natural runningback. Lacked a feel for the position.

Amazing athlete, though. He was unbelievably fast for a guy his size. He could just never put it together and it killed his career.

If I were Robinson, I would look at UGA, USCe, or LSU before bama if one and done was my goal.
Yes but you have a brain unlike this tool.
I hope he does go to bama. If all the 5* RBs are at the same place that's better than having to face three or four different schools with one. Plus most of them will be on the bench.

Surprised that nobody has bumped this thread. Noticed that he talked to Gus and the staff yesterday and that Auburn is still in the picture.
