I'm pretty sure Carswell has already left the team. Wasn't that the rumor in January?
TideSports still includes him on their practice report "suspension watch" as if he's still there. Although I've only seen people post about seeing Bowman and Carter on campus, albeit because they hang out together.

"It's not up to me, it's up to them," Saban said of the possibility of their return. "I had two adolescents at home, and could not predict what they were going to do. I can't predict what those guys are going to do, either."

If none of the 3 WRs return, we'll be at 84 scholarship players by my count. Shelley and Mandel might get to duke it out for that extra scholarship.

Mandell's impersonation of a NFL punter at A-Day was good enough for a scholarship, IMO.

More coach speak on the topic means they'll never play a down.

Of the 3, Bowman is the only one to ever have played a down for Bama and that was just a few plays of mop up duty in '09

The summer rumors of him moving to TE were always fun.

you seem like a good person to ask....
not being a dick or anything, but i was just really curious.... is there not an Alabama site that you guys go to for Bama sports talk?
i've always found it funny that this site has regular posters that come from rival teams..... i mean, i don't think i would want to go to some pro-Auburn or pro-Bama board everyday....
again, i'm not trying to flame or be a dick or anything, i'm just sincerely curious, as to why come to this site rather than a Bama site.....
TIA

I'm not trying to be a dick, either...but I think that's why Chicken established the SEC Rant and SEC Recruiting Board. Most fans, of teams not names LSU, stayed away from LSU's Recruiting Baord for the most part.
Besides, it's funner posting with fans of another school. Flat out Auburn sites tend to be too homerific to me.

You have to pay for BOL and Tidesports. frick that.
Tidefans is literally the worst team message board on the internet.
Posted on 4/17/12 at 8:13 pm to Robot Santa
As a message board BOL is awful too.
Posted on 4/17/12 at 8:28 pm to TreyAnastasio
I don't think the LSU fans realize that they are affiliated with the best college football website on the internet.

This couldn't be any more correct.

I just couldnt stand Shane and his fan club. Too many homers and people sucking up to him. He runs the board pretty bad, one time he banned someone, and below their message started talking shite about the poster like "Bet you wont be saying that anymore, will you?" knowing that the guy can responde.
When posters like Jawa and Helenatider are the most respected posters on there you know the board is shite.
Posted on 4/17/12 at 8:52 pm to TreyAnastasio
Just saw your apeshit posts you thought you were banned for on BOL
EPIC
And another note, Dee quotes are funny, he was at Aday in the stadium, again I was there I SEEEED IT. Also met Landon Collins who brought his moms, she is funny, but make no mistake she was decked out in Crimson

Did they mention that on BOL or anywhere?
Seems like the kid is just playing games with someone.

Agreed, Rivals had a nice staff group, but when they broke off and Ostendorf left Rivals, it tanked as well. I actually felt bad for Rivals when they announced they were splitting off or whatever to 247.
What's sad about Ostendorf is he was BY FAR the most respected and well connected reporter on Tide hoops and now he has to write like 2 or 3 articles a day for ESPN Insider on everything and he is the only writer
so he can't focus on hoops. It is freaking ESPN with unlimited funds and there is 1 staff writer sad sad sad. He had a lot of potential.
