The 5-star prospect tells me this evening he called linebackers coach Lance Thompson today and he is trying to make it in to visit Alabama April 27. If that doesn't work the plan is sometime in early May.
He visited Florida a couple weeks ago for their spring game and enjoyed his time. Bama and UF are the schools in the mix for him, as he has no other visits planned. Again, he stated he didn't want to give the edge to one over the other until he sees Bama.
He's a player that is going to end his recruitment sometime this summer so he can focus on football his senior year.

A) I think Bell and Auburn commit Dee Liner (who visited for A-Day) would be the strongest possibilities out of the remaining top 30....not sure I would use the word "optimistic" but UA is in the mix for both.

I'm pretty sure Carswell has already left the team. Wasn't that the rumor in January?
