Ready for football. Just curious.
For Alabama, I think it's the wide receiver group.

Not sure, so I will wait for aggie/ bama to tell me which it is. They seem to know more about LSU than any LSU poster on this site.
Seriously, with recent news at QB, we are starting a true sophomore and have a true fresh as b/up, and o-line on the left side. New O and D coordinators, so interested to see how that shakes out with our experienced players, too.

CB for sure
Derion Kendrick
Ameer Speed (3-star senior)
Kelee Ringo (5-star who was hurt last year)
Jalen Kimber (4-star redshirt freshman)
Gonna be ok by the end of the year I think but I’d be surprised if they aren’t exploited a bit by Clemson. Stacked at safety though.
Kendrick will be fine. Ringo and Kimber are really good but haven’t taken any real snaps. Speed is an ok player but he isn’t gonna be a shutdown guy or anything

For LSU I was thinking offensive line. Max Johnson looks pretty good IMO.

Linebacker and Safety from last year. Now QB if we lose Max.
Posted on 8/4/21 at 2:11 pm to MacMan10
Definitely offensive line. And we lost our starting Left Tackle.

Left side is new personnel and Max does look good. One slip up and true freshman goes in, so the "group" is one of concern, now.

I can't see Speed starting. He seems too big and not enough quickness. Ringo or Kimber will win it IMO
Although there was a rumor on JY someone was getting beat consistently in the secondary that would be unexpected.
Rusty also said that brini vs tyreke was still a competition for the same position?

What is y'alls projected starting oline?
Posted on 8/4/21 at 2:19 pm to jmon
LSU is actually very solid at QB. Myles will be back before November, we have incredible talent coming in including number 1 recruit.
Oline will be nasty this year.
Backs and receivers one of best groups in SEC.
Dline one of best groups in county and we have both depth and experience to do full rotation.
DBs best in country.
Safeties solid
Kicking, probably best in country. (Take that Bama)
It’s linebackers. They could be very good or below average we will have to see.
We are hearing this defensive group maybe better than 19, if so we are top 10 team easy and real threat to bama. (The group that gave up average of like 9 points at end of the season) If anything like the shite show we saw on defense last year, Bebe seat is going to start heating up.

For the Cats - its been Offensive Coaching. We'll see if it's better.

They will be nasty...but not in the way you are thinking

For Aggy, I'm going with LBs, and possibly the OL. Every other position seems to be fine, but I would like to have more experience at the QB position.

Position group? Curious to hear from a Wildcat fan

If I had to guess Speed will start game 1 and they will ease Ringo into a starting spot. Speed isn’t ideal but I think we want to avoid throwing Ringo in the fire like Eli Ricks was last year for LSU.

Probably. Brini came in as a 3-star and stuck with it and got a little bit better each year. He made some good plays in the Cincy game.
Not sure it really matters who starts at STAR. Brini can play all 3 safety positions so he will get a ton of playing time rotating in for the other 3 guys.
If there’s one place I trust Kirby, it’s the secondary, he’s coached a ton of crappy players into All-SEC players
Deandre Baker (3-star)
JR Reed (2-star)
Eric Stokes (3-star)
