2014 Mississippi State @ LSU: the final score makes it look like a competitive game, but State completely dominated for 3 quarters until Mullen took his foot off the gas in the 4th and gave Les a chance to get back into it. TS was nearly completely empty when time ran out. Broke a 14 game winning streak against the Bulldogs.

2022 Tennessee @ LSU: completely awful starting from the opening kickoff. The first game for both of my kids to go to and they didn't have much to cheer for. There were lots of Vol fans that made the trip and they were loud all game.

2004 Alabama - South Carolina

I remember watching this game. The QB stat lines from that game were hilarious.

SC:
Dondrial Pinkins: 2/6 for 32 yards
Syvelle Newton: 2/5 for 14 yards and 1 INT

Alabama:
Marc Guillon: 9/18 for 63 yards and 2 INT
Spencer Pennington: 1/6 for 4 yards and 2 INT

In that case how much time do you have to read about LSU’s insane timeline of heartbreaking losses at home to Alabama that I’ve witnessed? still can’t believe I didn’t make it in for last season, but I’ve endured so much torture that I fully expected a loss.

I mean holy hell, no one knows how to rip a schools heart out like Alabama does to lsu. It’s not even a melt. It’s just a fact.

In that case immediately add 2008, 2012, and 2014 Alabama losses to my list. 2008 was not THAT miserable because that was a terrible team that nearly stunned Alabama, but watching Jarrett lee’s pic six palooza freshman year was brutal. I know that game he had one of his seven pic sixes and did something terrible in overtime…maybe another interception

I never saw us lose at home but we went to double OT with Vandy in Urban's first year that we should've lost.

That I've been in the stadium for? Thankfully I wasnt at the app state game last year....

1) Loss vs the longhorns in 2011, had a really good handle on the game until a very questionable PI call gives them a free 15 yards and first down and then they kick the winning FG as our last game in the Big 12.

2) Loss vs Alabama in 2015, yeah its not surprising to lose to a high ranked bama team during this saban era, but it was a really hyped up top 10 matchup that proceded to be an almost 20 point loss while we watched Kyle Allen throw 3 picks (2 of them pick 6s) all while wondering why Kyler Murray was just sitting on the bench. Some say it was the beginning of the end for Sumlin's tenure in how he mishandled both of the 5 star QBs.

Came to post this. AU is way down and the players are dancing on the filed and the sideline. Just disgusting. Everyone at that point knew the inmates were running the asylum.

2000 southern miss. Was like 21-0 at the end of the first and Bama never threatened.

Staying with southern miss, 1982 36-28 and that was after Bama came back. Reggie collier owned Bama that day.

2000 iron bowl. 10-0 auburn. Sleet all day, temp never got out of the 20s.

1999 la tech. Bama had lost to la tech in 97 and been dominated. Won’t happen again. Bama leads with one play left and Tim rattay goes out. Backup throws up a prayer into triple coverage and hits it.

Vandy 1984. 30-20. Vandy finished 5-6 that season. All I can say about that.

Watching crackhead Maty Mauk eviscerate UConn in a scintillating 9-6 victory. And the only reason we won is because UConn didn't kick the 30 yard field goal at the end of the game and tried the most obvious fake ever.

My three that come quickly come to mind (but, there are others) are:

1975 vs. Richmond (won 28-24, but we sho'nuff looked ugly!)
1977 vs. #8 Kentucky (lost 33-0)
1979 vs. Wake Forest (we were ranked #12 and lost 22-21)

Three immediately come to mind for South Carolina:

1. Clemson (2003). Lost 63-17. Not even giving a courtesy write-up on this game. Clemson just beat the shite out of SC.

2. Florida (2001). Lost 54-17. College Gameday was there, and the fans wore all black for a stadium "blackout". Spurrier stated after the game that one of his receiver's told him that it was nice of South Carolina to wear all black, it made the ball easier to pick out of the sky.

3. Texas A&M (2014). Lost 52-28. Launch of the SEC Network. South Carolina came in at #9 off of an 11-game winning season the year before. Kenny Hill proceeded to light SC up for 511 yards and 3 touchdowns. Broke an 18- game home winning streak for South Carolina.

Honorable Mentions: Citadel (2015) and Auburn (2011).

I'd include the 63-7 asswhipping Spurrier gave us against the Gators in '95, late November game it was freezing cold and I could count how many fans were still in the stadium in the 4th quarter.

2003 USC
2008 Tennessee

Was not in attendance for 2012 A&M but condolences to those who were.

2012 Florida. Played decent for a half Neyland was rocking and then we imploded. 2015 Oklahoma was heartbreaking in the extreme

Georgia at Tennessee, 1973

Tennessee had a 31-28 lead and apparently was on its way to victory. But with 2:32 remaining and fourth down and 2 to go on the Tennessee 28, Coach Bill Battle elected to try for the first down. But fullback Steve Chancey was caught for a two-yard loss. Georgia quickly took advantage of the gift to win 35-31.
