This game use to mean something, Not everyone deserves to play, the all star game lost me when they ended it in a tie a few years back. I want the days of Pete Rose, when it meant something to win this game, not see everyone get to play
wasn't a bad place to live until the people from California showed up and traffic became awful, the traffic on the interstates now is just brutal in middle TN.

This will always be my fav. performance of freebird.

my grandfather was the 2nd wave to hit the beaches. He spoke very little about that but did say to me once, when we had them on the run, we didn't stop, I walked over France to Germany

DiMaggio, after his historic 56-game hitting streak was snapped on July 17, 1941, Joe immediately started a new 16-game hitting streak. Combined with the 56 games, this meant he hit safely in 72 out of 73 consecutive games.

but, that one game where he didn't get a hit, Heinz reportedly promised him 10k to endorse their "Heinz 57" products if he could extend his hitting streak to 57 games. However, the streak ended at 56 games on July 17, 1941, costing him the deal.
