Another 80/20 issue that the left will take the losing side on
We went weekend before last ahead of all the severe weather rolling in. Stayed pretty much in Cowikee/Wylaunee. Surprised at amount of grass coming back. Obviously COE hasn't sprayed lake yet, hopefully they won't this year. Keyed on green hyacinth/peanut grass with a frog, swim jig, chatter bait, and spinner bait. Was a very productive half day until wind got too bad out of the south. Good luck on your tourney
I thought this would lead to big ol' Dem socialist titties trying to enslave my arse

This is the major aggressive interpretation of the admin.

Can you mf'ers not read and interpret what was posted. There is that big word "Or" in the leading statement of the law. It doesn't just preclude war being being declared

"Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That whenever there shall be a declared war between the United States and any foreign nation or government, OR any invasion or predatory incursion shall be perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States, by any foreign nation or government, and the President of the United States shall make public proclamation of the event, all natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects of the hostile nation or government, being males of the age of fourteen years and upwards, who shall be within the United States, and not actually naturalized, shall be liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured and removed, as alien enemies."

I’m right there with you. The language, consistency in the forecast and high risk makes this feel pretty damn close to 4/27. I know we’re told not to compare anything to that day but this is the most serious event I remember since.

After all I've seen and I'm by no means a weather expert, but I think it's safe to start drawing that comparison and hope/pray for the best outcome that it doesn't materialize. This one appears to be the real deal

This is only the 3rd time since at least 2006 (when we can easily query our records), and likely only the 3rd time in SPC history based on available data, that a High Risk has been issued on Day 2.

The 2 previous times were:
4/14/2012
4/7/2006

Note: Apparently not even April 27, 2011

Yeah, saw an interesting stat that each of those events produced 91 and 151 tornadoes. Buckle up and be safe y'all, tonight through Sunday morning is going to be a scary ride for a lot of people.

My youngest is home for spring break and was talking about sleeping in his truck(national forest) turkey season starts tomorrow.

My youngest did that last year in Appilachicola NF and killed the battery in his truck in middle of nowhere. Mom called me in a panic while I'm at the top of pulp mill digester in middle of MS. Told her he'd figure it out. Came home eventually with tail tucked between his legs and no birds

I had Northside-Columbus in baseball tonight.

Nice, how'd y'all come out. They've had a pretty decent club and seem to be a magnet for the baseball talent here.
Good luck and God speed Bobby OG. Stay safe. I think this could turn out to be as big of a storyline as the severe weather/tornado threat
My wife (no pics) texted earlier and asked if the weather was supposed to be bad here (Columbus, GA) on Saturday evening. I replied, yes ma'am and why you asking? She said a girl in her insurance office was talking about leaving town because all the Ft Benning Army wives were posting on FB about leaving town . I told her as long as my OT weather service thread, Radar Scope app and alerts work, we'd be ok. But yes babe, it seriously has that potential to be bad and everyone should be aware and monitor it closely.

Kinda surprised this thread hasn't been stickied yet.
Makes cut for the weekend and needs a top 10 to earn his PGA tour card (3 shots out of top 10 starting the day). He's already indicated he wouldn't join the tour until 2026 if he were to earn it. WDE JK, go get that card.
