Will Stein is a grand slam, which coordinator will be the next elite HC?

Glen Schumann has been on people’s radars for years. He seems due to take a HC job, or perhaps he’s waiting for Kirby to eventually retire as is adapting the HC in waiting role Muschamp had at Texas during g the Mack Brown years.

I think Charlie Weis Jr will be a very successful head coach sooner than later

Charlie Weis Jr
Definitely a likely candidate.

Not sure about HC, but Tulane’s Defensive Coordinator is an up and comer. Will probably be coordinator in SEC soon.

I have always wondered if Schumann is pulling the reverse-Kirby and waiting until DeBoer gets fired at Bama so he can go home.

What's the consensus on Lanning? Is he a good HC? I genuinely cannot tell. Unfair to Schumann, but could be some lingering questions from Lanning hanging over Schumann's head.

I pity whoever takes him. He is benefiting greatly by attaching himself to Lane. I know yall have been able to tell at this point when he’s calling plays versus when Lane is. He don’t have the personality to be the main guy

Timmy Cramsey.

I sure hope nobody comes and steals him from us this offseason.

I disagree. I don't know how he would do at running a program but as OC, he's excellent. I think that in a lot of games, Lane actually gets in his way. Our play-calling for the playoffs was far better than anything we had seen through the year.

I don't know that Weis has the personality to be a HC yet. Not every great X's and O's guy is cut out to be a head coach. Dave Aranda is one of the best X's and O's guys out there but he's only finished above .500 twice in 6 years.

Weis seems to keep a pretty low profile in BR to be honest. Don’t know if he was like that in Oxford, but I can see where he would struggle the attention a HC gets.

Will Stein is not elite.

Maybe one day he will be, but everyone was saying the same stuff about Stoops when he had a good couple of seasons in a row.

Figured you were still in your binge stage of your binge and purge cycle of shame after Florida won. We all know how much you hate that.
