LSU didn't commit enough to make it an elite program on the national level like they did in the late 90s-early 2000s.

Simple. The commitment to the program simply wasn't there for a long time. That's definitely not an issue anymore and won't be again until the sport itself dies.

A very talented roster combined with a very average head coach is a strangely difficult outcome to predict, especially in this division.

It will depend on health and how the coordinator hires turn out.

It normally has taken Leach 2 to 3 years to implement his offense.

What makes you think you saw his offense last year when they were all brand new, with run first personnel and they didn't even get a spring or summer workouts?

They played a transfer and freshman at QB with and all the offensive leaders were freshmen with a 42-49 man roster most of the back half of the season with a walk-on playing in the secondary due to Covid.

People better watch what they say about Leach, they may be eating crow.

Odom is a good coach but he exposed nothing.

Believe it or not alot of people are only interested in the games they were alive for. I've watched my team play for 4 national championships from middle school into my adulthood. May not mean much to bitchmade spoiled cocksucker Bama fans, but to the rest of college football thats a lofty achievement.

True, Jimmy Lake exposed Leach on a yearly basis in the Apple Cup.

Your mother obviously dropped you on your head when you were a little baby.

Like Scott Woodard is on he verge of firing a head coach who in only his third season at LSU went 15 & 0, not only won an SEC title but a national championship title with the greatest college football team EVER in history and who also just reeled in a $55 million dollar bonanza for his university. Not to mention as well that 15 & 0 season is also the best season ever in LSU's history.

A head coach who already in his four seasons has compiled a win-loss record against AP top-10 teams of 13 & 5, which is the best in the country by a mile.

And a head coach who has finished in the top-five in national recruiting for three years in a row and a head coach who also currently is number one in the SEC today in recruiting.

I didn't know this before, but damn there are some incredibly dumb people living in Mississippi.

He's a 9-3/8-4 coach.

Burrow and Brady ain't walking back thru those doors.

There is no number because most people aren't ignorant Tom Herman supporters/Ed O haters like you are. In fact, because we shy away from drugs, out minds remain fully intact.

To be honest, I’d be stoked if Woodward got the opportunity to hire LSU’s next head football coach.

He went 10-3 in 2018 with Burrow playing like Average Joe and no Brady.

That included a beatdown of then #2 Georgia.

Yeah, look at aggie going 7-5 to 10-1 in one year. And to top it off, they'll probably be 8-4 this year

So 9-3 with a bowl win.

Thanks for proving my point.
