If a 17 year old in High School can't hit a ball, "without help" from a $300 Aluminum bat from Hibbett, instead of a heavy Louisville, then he has failed you in life.
Right, Baws?
Too early for baseball, and too early to buy baseball crap for your kids while hoping for tax refund money. Spend it more wisely Baws.
You are one dumb mother fricker.

tbh i dont give a flying frick about baseball, but people saying that wood is too expensive for college teams is baffling to me. and even high school, fire some pencil pusher who coordinates the "LGBTBBQLOL Diversity Inclusion Council Center For Native American Transgenders" and buy some wood bats

Most baseball bats are made from a composite type material. Even Easton makes the composite bats for baseball. You're about 20 years behind in information. Try to keep up.
Composite bats last longer than wood bats, but can eventually break. I have broken several softball bats after its been used for over 1,500-2,000 hits.

Did you enjoy playing at Mercer instead of an SEC program?
You seem bitter about it.

This reads like Shane Gillis' bit about his dad recapping the news for his family

Are you under the impression wood bats are cheap? The bats college players currently use are in the $400 range. The good wood bats are in the $150-200 range. Now factor in that each player would break approx 15-20 bats in a season and the cost of wood is huge compared to metal.

I read that and thought the same thing
For everyone’s reference, aluminum has a density of 2.7 g/cm^3, while tungsten has a density of 19.3 g/cm^3, making tungsten one of the heaviest metals on the periodic table and over seven times heavier than aluminum. So, this guy is either highly misinformed or a massive troll, and I don’t think it’s the former

Let me guess, you want tennis to go back to wooden racquets and golf back to persimmon?
I like the old wooden racquets but can see the weight issue as I get older.
As for clubs I still use wood. I have a putter older than I am and still have not found a better replacement.

Why the Aluminum bats in College Baseball?
Have you got any idea how much a good bat cost?...and how many that teams would go through (break!) a year?
Besides, the National Arborist Association could picket the games.

Bro, I am an Engineer that works with these metals.
Tungsten is light and strong like paper in baseball. Do you think that it is solid or something? I am confused.

Aluminium bats "ping" harder. Why not just use wood and keep it real. An obvious advantage only feeds these kid's egos. It's like moving the 3-point line in women's basketball closer.

Aluminum bats in College Baseball?
Aluminum has been gone for years now. Even middles school and high school have moved away from Aluminum. .50 BBCOR is the regulation for middle school, high school and college.
One of the top bats right now on the market for college and high school is the BBCOR Louisville Slugger Meta.

My mahogany is still beautiful and drives like a champ. Someone offered me $400 and I refuse to sell. It was a great choice.
