It's terrible and why college baseball is basically softball for men.

I’d say 99% of college players have played in wooden bat leagues before entering college. The choice has nothing to do with ability.

Back in the 90’s, before they dulled the bats down, it seemed like a home run derby. LSU was ridiculous to watch, they had some monsters playing.

I could be way off base with this because I’m working off memory, but it seems they dulled the bats down due to safety concerns because these players were getting bigger and hitting harder.

The bats they play with now aren’t like the old aluminum softball bats.
