Seems like a rowdy game environment deep in the heart of Texas

stadium atmosphere changed when CDC took over. He hired the Bama game coordinator away and having gone to a game 10 years ago vs last year it was night and day better and louder.
Also closing in the endzone keeps the noise inside. Tailgating is legit too.

That turf looks terrible on TV, day or night.

I went a couple of years ago. I did sit in the nosebleeds, but the atmosphere was meh. The Texas fair outside the stadium was cool, I guess. Inside the stadium just felt fake. Fake field. Fans that didn’t know what to cheer for. Fake fake fake.
It was an 11 AM game, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Suddenly the boos on gameday make absolute sense.
Ted Cruz is all for border control.

Have to agree…I was surprised the turf looked so bad.

Most of those Indians didn't walk across the border.

Probably because there are multiple SEC programs with far less success but much more passionate fanbases.

The thing about all these Indians that people don't discuss is they try to be "American" and portray the privileged white kid lifestyle, basically doing stuff they don't really enjoy because they want to look cool. Then in several years, they will complain about not fitting in and feeling unfulfilled and blame racism.
Most of these Indian students ARE American and they were likely born/raised here. They are as American as you or I.

Wrong generation amigo. These guy's parents are the ones with the identity crisis.
These dudes themselves are a bunch good ol Texas boys, having fun doing good ol Texas boy things. Football, beer, parties, and lake days like the good lord intended, even they are doing it all decked out in the nastiest shade of baby shite orange on the planet.
P.s. - and frick you for making me defend longwhorns. Dumbass.

This is probably one of the most racist boards out there, especially when those from the poli board come over.
Expecting anything else is going to make you feel sad.

I went in 2019. It’s a very corporate/flashy/“look how cool we are” atmosphere to the point that they can’t really figure out what they want it to be. It wasn’t that way in the early 90s when I went to games while my sister (no pics) was in school there.

My thoughts too. bullshite for a program with UT’s resources to have artificial turf anyway.

The (Texas) Colorado River is gonna look and smell like the Ganges from Austin to the Gulf before the end of the year.
