The stadium atmosphere used to suck. My only criticism now is I don’t care for all the pumped in music and crap on the Jumbotron. For example I’m pretty sure every stadium in the country now does that “o-o-o-o, oooo” before the kickoff. Geez do something different.
But yeah since they closed it off it’s a lot louder and like you said the tailgating is top level

They do kind of bush league stuff. Sitting Bama's band in the nosebleeds...the lack of AC in the visitors locker room, the water bottle BS when we were there...they don't need to do that sort of nonsense and it just makes them look small and petty

Bigger question. Where ARE the women? Of any race? Compare that pic to the hotties at any other SEC school. Utrans.. the crown jewel of gay liberal schools.

Went when they played TCU a few years ago; maybe 3/4 years ago; nothing special at all ; crowd was leaving at half time. Outside stadium was decent though.

A few comments.
The Turf is a much darker green in person, and in natural light.
I noticed on various Youtube videos how different the turf looks, especially at night, with the different color lights, smoke, camera angles, etc. Everything from blue to grey to silver to 3 or 4 shades of green.
DKR with Texas being 5-6 and losing to some random ??-State at home is a much different vibe than the past 5 years of watching future NFL players. The past 4 years, w/ Alabama, Georgia, A&M, and Ohio State are loud as frick, and can't miss entertainment. End of Story.
The stadium design was open ended until recently, the upper deck is above the bowl, and it still is not fully enclosed.
Before this year, Texas had an undersized practice bubble, remote practice fields a bus ride away, and DKR. DKR was used daily throughout the season, which is not practical for a natural grass field.
They just opened a new Football Training Complex this year. Well see what happens.

Easily the ugliest stadium in the SEC.
