was it Oklahoma game?

If it was it would have been in Dallas and it was the State Fair Game played there every year.

University of Texas is located in Austin and their stadium is on campus.

It’s not the atmosphere for me that’s the issue. It’s that damn turf. Put real grass down. Looks so much better.

Plans to go back to grass are finalized (if not quite official) Extreme heat (160+ index recorded on field for Texas state game) have sealed any push back that resisted (from Sark basically as he likes to use stadium for practices). With new indoor facility complete right next to stadium, expect Texas to have a grass field for first time since 2010, in 2027

I was there a few times but one of them they lost to Kansas, so I am tainted. it’s a decent stadium but it’s not in the top tier of the SEC. It’s no where near Tiger Stadium, Jordan Hare, the Swamp, or gumpland, etc. It’s more on UK, Ole Miss, Miss State level

They are Texas Residents as is 90% of the student body by law, they are just not WASP Texas residents. My daughter is a recent grad. The school is run by complete fricking rantards who don’t give a shite about the students or the state of Texas, I wouldn’t piss on them if they won’t fire. A apparently the Texas legislature is just now figuring that out.

Fun fact. The last time OU played in Austin was Nov 1923, 103 years ago.
