Dude is done in CFB. He might have gotten the half-year suspension if it was only MLB bets, but betting on CFB and on your own team’s games is an easy perma-ban.

This story seems like a big nothing burger
The #1 portal QB betting on multiple sports, including his own sport and his own team’s games. And checking into rehab.
It’s a HUGE story. He is done in CFB, and won’t play in another college practice, much less a college game. The rehab is to try and preserve any chance at a future pro career, which is also now in jeopardy.
This is as big of a clear-cut permanently ineligible situation that you will ever see.
Also I found this possible explanation earlier…
quote:LINK:Article about WHCD time travel theory
However, before the theory runs too far, fact-checker journalist David Puente offered a more grounded explanation. The 'well-known technique' involves creating a private account and publishing a large volume of hidden posts of popular names and potential future events. If one of those events eventually occurs, the user deletes everything else, makes the matching post public, and allows the illusion of foresight to do the rest. To maximise the chances of a hit, users tend to use names that already have some public profile — like minor actors or public figures that 'sooner or later, will be linked to an event (crime, murder, drugs, etc.),' Puente explained.
Interesting and wild stuff.
Let’s assume for a second that the X post from 3 years ago did involve time travel or seeing into the future or something along those lines.
What would have been the reasoning/goal/purpose of the person or persons to post just the name? Or to make any post in the first place?

Anything can happen, but my gut says 13 wins isn’t getting us in with our bad OOC. We need to get to at least 14, preferably 15.
Getting to 13 would at least open up the conversation and possibility, though.
I’m hoping for:
-win 2 of 3 State
-sweep USC
-win 1 or 2 UGA
-at least that has us going into the Florida series with a CHANCE

Hoping LSU can win the series vs Ole Miss this weekend and make it 3 series wins in a row. As inconsistent/average and sometimes downright bad as LSU has played so far this season, I’m kind of surprised and relieved that we’re sitting at .500 through 12 games with 18 conference games left to play.
I’m just hoping this LSU team can get to 15 SEC wins, anything beyond that would obviously be great.

Wonder if they’ll release the photos of the alien base/structure on the other side of the moon.

It’s wild to me that this isn’t the lead story on the major news networks.
Accurate or not, current and former members of Congress saying stuff like this is huge news IMO.

I’m sure many have seen this before, but today would be a great time to turn it on NBC, cast the below video to your TV, and record the reaction of the other person in the room…. LINK: alien invasion prank video

Is that yellow tracker line for the HR or for the flip? They looked about the same
We need to win today. It’s time to win a weekend series, feels like it’s been a month since we’ve done so.
lol actually had to re-look at the schedule it’s been well over a month since we’ve won a traditional 3-game weekend series (Milwaukee Feb13-15)

LSU just spent $200 million to hire a head football coach with no SEC titles and zero playoff appearances and a head basketball coach with no SEC titles and zero sweet 16 appearances.
While true that neither coached in those particular postseason games, it’s very disingenuous. Kiffin had a team make the playoffs, and Wade had a team that made the Sweet16.

In the video he said the mosquitos they make go out in the wild and mate with other mosquitos to spread the human-injected bacteria that makes it unable to spread certain viruses/diseases. I didn’t hear him say anything about it making them unable to reproduce or that being the goal. Sounds like the goal is to “infect” enough mosquitos to stop/slow spread of certain diseases.
When I first saw the thread I was like “WTF why would anyone make MORE mosquitos ” like most people, but after watching the video at least it kind of makes sense assuming they’re being honest about the research and that it works.

I don’t think that’s right FWIW
Didn’t he win in the first round at LSU in 2021?
In looking back at Wade’s NCAA tourney record at LSU, it is interesting/strange that 4 of his 5 LSU teams made or would have made (Covid year) the NCAA tournament, yet he only coached the team in 1 NCAA tournament out of those 4 appearances.

That is a terribly foolish position in the event we actually see them show up to our planet. Yes, let's lead our rednecks to want to unload their weapons on an interstellar traveler.
Good point. If we as humans on earth sent people into space (as we have), and we were able to land on another planet, we would be there to just explore/research/etc…. We wouldn’t be there to necessarily do damage or Annihilate… so there should be no assumption that aliens coming here would be seeking to do damage/harm to us. If they are here or ever come here, they could be merely checking things out… no different than us going to the moon or Mars or some other planet.
For those interested, Age of Disclosure was one of the better UFO/alien documentaries I’ve seen.

That’s kinda wild/surprising if you think about it. I had to look it up to verify that it was correct, and it is.

Huh? There are billions of planets out there that can support life. Over 300 million that can support life in the Milky Way Galaxy alone.
re: "Messy" and "Clumsy" hire
Posted by JPLSU1981 on 3/27/26 at 9:18 am to Sheriff Brackett
Yeah I don’t agree with those words “clumsy” or “messy” either. Like or dislike Wade or LSU, the process itself on LSU’s side was perfect and well-orchestrated… targeted your guy, made admin moves to get said guy, everything stayed pretty damn quiet relative to most coaching searches, got your guy.
With the Will Wade hire, I’m guess I’m gonna start watching basketball again.
Question for the board …. I’m watching this Texas Purdue game, why does sometimes the baskets made count for 3 points instead of 2? Is this a new thing?

Maybe. Possibly. Even if true, that seems like a very good thing to me for the LSU basketball program.
LSU football and LSU baseball… the goal is to win the national title. LSU basketball… the goal is to be consistently Good.
No one outside of Wade is expecting LSU basketball to be “elite” anytime soon.
