Nice job?
They’re remaining schedule is A&M, ole miss, MSU, USCe, Vandy and Mizzou.
17-18 wins most likely.

No, congrats to YOU. I doubt your team will beat Oats very often once he has a full roster. Savor that win you had earlier in the season.

Anthony Grant and Avery Johnson stood no chance there.
R.I.P. to the current coach.
You run out a coach who is successful everywhere else he goes, but he goes to Bama and he sucks.
This tells me it's a athletic department/booster problem.
Are the facilities and support for basketball that bad at Bama? Is it just Football and Softball (sometimes) and that's it?

Anthony Grant will be the first to tell you that he had room for improvement. He's a mid major coach, that's all. Avery Johnson got the gig after Bama whiffed on Gregg Marshall.
Anthony Grant just might win a national championship this year at Dayton. They look like a very polished team offensively and defensively. Much of that has to do with coaching. saw them numerous times and they are good, very good.

Thank God he's no longer passively roaming Bama's court.

I've seen games at Rupp, Arkansas, and Coleman. It was the worst of the 3.

Ok? That has nothing to do with how the team plays or the coaches coach.

Hell, on an average weekday night there'd be 10,000-12,500 asses in the seats, and on Saturday 12,500-15,000. That'll work for 95% of the D-1 schools.

It was like that until the last 2 or 3 years under Gottfried as well.

Alabama is one of the most historically successful SEC programs OP.
Pretty sure when you look at conference titles and tourney titles they are 2nd or 3rd. LSU is right there.
Im sure if Arkansas' SWC stats transferred over theyd be a runaway 2nd. But it is what it is.

Would you rather be a fan of a team with a F4 appearance and an under .500 winning %, or a team with no F4 appearance, but a .600 winning percentage and a number of conference championships?
