I think the asterisk give it a nice touch.

Football will always trump everything at bama because of it's rich tradition. The sidewalk fans make up the majority and the couldn’t care less about Bball, in saying that there really doesn’t have to a competitive program. As long as football is elite, basketball will always be an afterthought.

Coleman has a lot to do with it.

Poor Willie has risen from his basement with a vengeance, over the embarrassment of losing to a team led by its 1 handed rebounder/free throw shooter.

I live in the attic.
Uncle Poot took the basement from me.
Nice try dummy!

Obviously Coleman is a dump, but it’s not the reason. The apathy of the administration is the reason.

We still haven't retired any numbers.

Fifty years ago, Wendell Hudson stepped foot on The University of Alabama campus as its first African American scholarship athlete, helping to open doors for generations to come. To honor him and his legacy, Alabama Athletics will welcome back Hudson on Saturday, February 15 and hold a halftime recognition and jersey retirement at the men's basketball game versus LSU. While the number 20 will remain in circulation, Hudson's jersey will become the first in Alabama Athletics' history to be retired.
What am I missing? And you posted this thread on the Alabama board.

We hung his number in the rafters but it technically isn't retired. Players can still wear his number.

Are the facilities for basketball that bad at Bama?
Yes. But they are about to paint it.

Sure, why not? And I know the above makes it all the more frustrating for you that Bama is the 3rd winnigest program in the SEC. Imagine what we would do if we cared?!?

In 2037
Our arena itself sucks, but our basketball facilities (practice, weight-room, offices, locker rooms) are top of the line.

You’re telling me.
The attic is cool though.
I’ve got a nice view into the neighbors house.
Plus my Ma let’s me have a mini fridge that I keep stocked with Dew (Code Red).
