I guess SheManbearshartRebafan had to create this 1983 character to back him up on his retarded bullshite. Even the hardcore faithful are backing away from his shite.

2nd nationally in yards per game and 10th in points. Generally considered to have the best returning backfield in college football. Gonna say they aren't too bad.
Winnie Watkins was a good get though. Very talented WR.

Get a load of this retard saying the #1 RB and the #1 QB in the SEC suck.

He's been a key part of spring and summer since he already knows the offense and what's expected of him. Reports say he will be heavily involved this year.

Because he told them to frick off. He plans to show you it was all him and his staff that made you what you were.

“Playoff wins for Queefin at Ole Miss: 0
Playoff wins for Pete mother fricking Golding at Ole Miss: 2”
You do realize that Lane assembled that team and led them to that point? They would’ve won both games with him there as well.

Not that it really matters at this point, but I recall the inside guys who called Lane to LSU from the outset saying Lacy and Chambliss were good as gone before the sugar bowl upset. I remember thinking the win was going to be consequential to players jumping ship the second the game ended, just gave Ole Miss a lot of momentum people weren’t expecting at the time.
I do think the Bentley saga is a petty mistake on Lane’s end, but luckily we don’t have to worry about additional players banging his daughter
Beside the point of the OP, I really think this board is in for a horrifying reality when Lane gets LSU rolling early and often

My son has a friend who played for him at OM. His assessment of Lane… “He’s weird.”

He is weird. He's also an offensive savant. And he knows how to utilize the portal probably more effectively than most HCs.

I’m calling bullshite on your assessment. His portal activities are based on the amount of money LSU is willing to invest to win. His “offensive genius“ label is hyperbole. Was he a good coordinator under Saban? Sure. Is he the greatest offensive mind the game has ever seen? Absolutely not.

Saban said he’s arguably the best offensive mind he’s ever been around. Then again, RoscoeSanCarlos disagrees. Now I’m conflicted.

Absolutely true.
Ole Miss just picked up its 13th 4 star in June. Lane never had more than a couple 4 stars committed in June at any point in his tenure at Ole Miss.

Saban also said Pete was the best defensive mind he’s ever been around.
You know who also thinks Pete is a brilliant defensive mind? LSU’s head coach.

That’s nice. I never said anything about Pete Golding being an inadequate defensive coach

Rumors that Ole Miss paid out the arse to keep them. Lacy was going to come to LSU.
"Rumors"?
"Lacy was going to come?"
I think you answered the question for the OP. Nobody followed Lane.
Players didn't like Lane.

You might have one. No ap or upi titles

How many days has it been since LSU took your coach ?
Posted on 6/28/26 at 9:37 am to ManBearSharkReb
And yet he still took OM to the playoffs ? LOL, how impressive is that ?
