Why did zero offensive starters follow Lane Kiffin to LSU?

Seems pretty odd that a coach who only coaches the offensive side of the ball had zero offensive starters follow him to his new school.
Has this ever happened before?
Look at all the starters that followed James Franklin, Kyle Wittingham, Matt Campbell, Alex Golesh, John Sumrall, etc. all had multiple starters on their side of the ball follow them to their new school.
I mean Lane so likable and cool and everyone always talks about what a high character guy Lane is and LSU has all those resources and will overpay for anyone he wants YET he didn’t convince a single starter on his offense at Ole Miss to follow him.
It does seem quite different.

Rumors that Ole Miss paid out the arse to keep them. Lacy was going to come to LSU.

Probably a combo of feeling a little pissed off and betrayed their coach left them when the program had its first legit shot of a national title in 70 years and…

TJ Zestery (he’s gay by the way so I’m not surprised you love him) isn’t a loss when he’s being replaced by Keaton Thomas and Luke Ferelli (good enough to make Dabo melt like a bitch)
Prince is a bit of a loss but his production will be replaced by Suntarine Perkins and Blake Purchase. But all you gotta do is run right at Prince and he gets blown off the line.
You also paid out the arse for players who aren’t worth it versus ole Miss laying out the arse for the #1 QB and #1 RB in college football.

Kiffin will be fine in the long run at LSU, and he put together a good offensive staff for this year. However, he definitely thought Lacy and Chambliss would come with him to LSU

Certainly not as deep as Kiffin and Smith’s RB room in 2024 where he started a WR at RB in a must win game against Florida. (He choked per usual) Because he refused to play Ulysses Bentley (because he banged his daughter and filmed it)
