Why are people saying OU and TX don’t belong in the SEC?

Because we don't. Neither do A&M or Missouri. But here we are.

It's the way of the future so .... they do belong.

They're honestly, a better fit than UNC and UVA in terms of culture and atmosphere although I'm sure UTa's systemic far left wing wokisms and structurally pathological egocentricities are going-to cause harm in one way or the other ... they're the lesser lf three evils compared to UNC and UVA.

Missou fans have grown on me. Arkasnsas is a natural fit. (Southern states' flagship institutions are all no brainers) ... but UTa's woke culture is worrisome.

Austin is fast becoming a San Fran/Asheville/Denver type town/city. UTa is super woke. Sickly-so.

No you don't. But, since you came crawlin' on your hanging titties, we had mercy on ya and took you in off the streets to save your homeless azzes.

P.S. -- I'm actually glad TU and OU are now part of our family. Mizzou and A&M, too. Just remember who carries the big stick in this family, though.

The geographic center of the continental US is in Lebanon, Kansas.

Anything south or east of that point is fine with me as being part of the SEC.

That includes all teams in the SEC in 2024.

I honestly like Oklahoma as a state. Mostly rural and conservative. Austin is just a cesspool though. I can tolerate some liberals but those people have taken it to a California level of gross.

Exactly. So with five Big 12 schools in the SEC, can you really say we don't fit when we represent 31.25% of the member institutions?

I love both Oklahoma and Texas state-wise. Full of great people (outside the California libtards who've ruined Austin), and both are quite nice places to live.

It's because they don't belong, but they belong more than Mizzou.

At least they bring a history of success.

With the advent of the 12-team playoff, I honestly think the competitive need for the expanded conferences has gone the other direction. The winners of the PAC 12, Big 12 and AcC are now virtually guaranteed to get in whereas 1-2 of those leagues were usually left out of the four team playoff.

So the only true motivation now for Texas/OU to the SEC and USC/UCLA to the Big Ten is money.

Man who cares tbh.

The SEC is gaining 2 x blue bloods with history and prestige. History favors these teams, I wouldn’t look too deep into what people say.

You better hope your town doesn't become popular for California transplants. That's all I can tell you. Austin used to be filled with hippies and rednecks, and the hippies here were libertarians. All gone

How fracking old or special are you that your team was in the Big12 and you don't know that Arkansas NEVER was.

It was a joke. I don't have any problems with Arkansas. They always give us a tough game.

What does this mean? UT/OU have a combined 3 NCs in the last 40+ years.

Bama/LSU/UF/UGA all have as many or more in that time.
