Disregard polls.

All eye test and resume, and who will play the best from here on out..

Which team would you pick right now to win the Natty this year?

Miami?
Oklahoma?
Bama?
Wisky?
Clemson?
Auburn?
Georgia?
Ohio St?
Other?

Hard to say. Really looking forward to seeing the Miami/Clemson game. Hard to bet against bama though, assuming they get some injured players back. The homer in me says that AU will continue to play like they did Saturday, in which case they would absolutely run the table.

Obviously I want Auburn to win it all, but this would be a trip. Hard nosed, blue collar team that gets hardly any respect.

If all teams play like they did this Saturday, then Auburn or Miami have to be your best looking teams.

Clemson and Alabama can't be discounted, but that's mostly due to recent history and not based on how they looked this weekend.

They all look pretty even to me. A healthy Bama is probably the best of the bunch but still not by much.

Right this minute?
Clemson, Alabama and Auburn in my mind.
I don't think a two loss team will get into the playoffs, though. It's possible, but not probable.
It would be hard to argue against Auburn right now, but my perception is colored by PTSD right now.

I’m going Miami. Completely dominated a team ranked in the top five and a team that was credited as being the reason Georgia was number one (one point victory BTW).

Alabama would be number one but the defense has injury issues and if someone tackles Hurts during his scrambles, Alabama will be in big trouble.

The display that Miami put on in the 1st half against ND is the best football I've seen this year.

Could they do that again, on a neutral field?

I think a healthy Clemson is the best team, top to bottom.

ETA: I picked Clemson because I think they can get healthier. Too many Bama injuries were season enders.

The only part that makes it not probable is AU beating bama and then UGA again. If they do this, then a 2 loss team will absolutely make the playoff.

Very much looking forward to this game. I'm thinking about going to it since it's right down the road in Charlotte.

There are not many signature wins it seems this year. Miami beat the crap out of ND, but was ND posing? ND's signature win is probably a decent USC team.

I think Miami has to be a top favorite though right now. They seem to be peaking and playing good ball.

Goes to show you how stupid the polls and their reasoning are

RIGHT NOW, I'm leaning towards Miami... but that is a snap judgement. The Clemson/Miami game will answer a lot of questions.

Alabama doesn't look to be the juggernaut. Their LBs are decimated and I was frankly surprised how well State controlled the LOS through the first half when their coach didnt get too conservative.

Wisconsin...I think they merely exposed ND as the fraud I thought they were but that could be confirmation bias on my part.

Auburn still can make waves.

If they play like they did this past Saturday, I could see them beat both Georgia and Alabama. But, I still don't see a two loss team jump any 1 loss teams into the playoff. You might be right, and don't misconstrue this as what I am hoping for. It is my honest opinion.....and it's a shame when people on here have to say they are not trolling, but that is what the Rant has become.

Toss up between Miami, Bama or Clemson.

Clemson is a non hurt QB away from being undefeated and number 1, which I think most people are choosing to forget

Probably Miami. They are a complete team on Defense and it looks like Richt knows what he can do with his freshman QB. Earlier in the year the QB had too much on his shoulders and their offense almost cost them 3 games.
