As much as I would hate to say it, Archie was the best. He single-handedly beat two superior LSU teams. He did not have the supporting cast.

Here’s one no one thinks about, but deserves to be listed as one of the best. Ty Detmer. Had a great college career, broke tons of NCAA records, the Hiesman, Maxwell, O’Brien awards, at of all places BYU. He never had tons of talent around him, but he could flat out play QB at the college level.

Burrow. Stats prove it. Dont throw teabow manning bama QB's. Burrow hands down. Yes im all LSU and not biased. But i do know talent when i see it

Would you say that Tebow carried the Florida team on his back more than Cam carried Auburn? Or they both had weapons and a defense, which of these two were more valuable to the team?
Note: we weren’t in the SEC those years, so any SEC games I saw were usually just the big ranked games, I wouldn’t be able to judge for myself

As an LSU fan I know Burrow isn't the best college QB of all time, he simply had the best college football season of all time. The awards, records and schedule prove that.
