My daughter will graduate with her accosiates, with a 4.79 gpa. She plays volleyball, and will get TOPS in Louisiana. Hopefully she doesn’t waste it.

When I worked off shore we did a lot work on the Petrobras FPSO. It was supposedly the first one into the Gulf. Not sure if that was true or not, but that was back around 08-09.

They are monstrous in size, as big or bigger than the biggest cruise ships, and container ships out there.

Not sure, but my daughter is a sophomore from Central playing volleyball. While we haven’t been directly recruited, She has been receiving letters to come to camps put on by different universities.

I think it’s a way around the age/class rule. I do know a lot of the recruiting going on now days comes from recruiting services. These services collect videos, of kids that are good, which is video the kids parents took, pay them to compile it into a single video, and start sending it to every university they can.

The coaches either don’t have the time, or desire to go look at kid in person so they have people that do that for them. Outside of football, I doubt any of the other sports coaches even care about high school sports anymore. It’s all about travel ball, and big tournaments. It’s a way for scouts to see multiple “recruits” at the same place, at the same time.


Again, this is outside of football.. The camps, and club sports tournaments are where they look now.
