The starting qb that finally beat Bama in Tiger Stadium, Josh Booty.

Ben Leard for Auburn. Was solid and had some nice games.

I'd go with a different QB from that era for us, Jeff Klein.

So Disappointing. I was a big time JK fan. He just had the look of a field general when you saw him standing next to the other QBS, if you didn't know better and were asked pick out the starter....without a doubt or hesitation you would pick him every time. Then he got his first start I believe against UT and threw a pick 6 on one of his first attempts. ER MUH LAWD

That UGA game in either 99 or 2000, Where he put up like 38 points in 3 quarters and ended up with over 400 yards. Destroyed them.

If there was a forgotten National Championship QB under Saban, it would be Greg McElroy.

I forget about Jake Coker way more than McElroy. My vote for Bama goes to Coker.

Someone said Romaro Miller but he is mentioned in Ole Miss media constantly. Jordan Ta’amu will probably be that guy since he was sandwiched between Kelly and Corral but he’s recent enough to where everyone remembers him.

He gets lost in the Shuler, Manning, Martin and Clausen shuffle.

Started for 3 years. Overshadowed by Dalton Hilliard in the same backfield, but I think he might have left LSU as the career leading passer. Led the Tigers to two bowl games, including a Sugar Bowl.

Almost immediately forgotten as everyone loved his immediate replacement, Tommy Hodson.

Oh, and his daughter is on the softball team.

most forgotten by non-Gamecock fans? - easy ...

Dylan Thompson led the SEC in passing ypg in 2014 - his lone season as starting QB for Spurrier. Dak Prescott finished 2nd in pass ypg that year. USC had the worst defense in the SEC that year and denied Spurrier of what should have been a 4th consecutive 11 win season - finishing with 7.

2013 had Thompson's most forgotten performance in a game that gave CFB this play forever burned in our memory...

DT17 had to a bad-ankle Connor Shaw on more than a few plays in the Outback Bowl vs Michigan - including coming in for 1 snap with 17 seconds remaining to put Carolina ahead with the game winning TD pass to Bruce Ellington.

most forgotten by Gamecock fans -

Bobby Fuller - followed Todd Ellis and preceded Steve Taneyhill. Fuller started USC's first ever SEC game vs Georgia at W-B in 1992 and was pretty high in Carolina's passing records until Spurrier arrived in 2005.

Almost forgot about John Bond. I believe the only MSU QB to never lose to Alabama.

That’s pretty funny but he was the beginning of the Mullen era and didn’t have legit targets to throw to but that dude could run a damn football. The fact that Mullen made him a QB and won games with him is remarkable. But that beating he put on Michigan in the Gator Bowl says it all. Flawless.
