Shaun Alexander was an absolute beast in college. Good Lord, I've almost forgotten how dominating he was then went to SEA and pummeled for quite a bit too.

How many of those Bammer players were playing behind 127 5-star offensive linemen?

LOL, UGA not in the top ten of ESPN.
Good lord that list is horrible. Jacob Hester being one of our top 3? lulz

Well he has a gold jacket and his bust in Canton, and none of the list of 8 UGA/AL backs nor that horrendous prisoner of the moment top ten university lists of 30 backs are.
The #1 and #2 all time rushing leaders in SEC History are UGA backs (HW & Chubb), 2 other UGA backs are in the NFL Hall of fame (TD & Trippi), no other SEC school has 2, and a fifth back was a heisman trophy winner and National Champion (Sinkwich).
And that’s not counting Gurley, Sony, Swift, Garrison, Hampton, Strong, Tate, Olandis Gary, James Cook, Zeus, Haynes, Musa, Knowshon, Tim Worley, Sapp, Horace King, Ware, or Isaiah Crowell.

Back then the big ten was probably as good as the sec . Not really such thing as saying “product of the big ten” and it being a negative back then

This is the group if you consider buying running backs
I’m not sure if this is your schtick or not, but just about every single time I see someone post something about cheating , it’s always written by you.
I’ve never seen someone complain about other teams cheating so much when your team actually bought cam Newton . Your school is in the sec and has won a national championship in the sec, that just about guarantees that y’all bought players.
Before nil , it was almost impossible to win at a high level without giving impermissible benefits to recruits to sign and usually those benefits continue at varying rates even after the kid signs on the dotted line.
Nobody in this conference is 100% clean besides vandy maybe. It’s just not possible to win at a high level and not play the game that everyone else that wins has to play

I don’t think that’s what they were doing when they listed those names. Hester isn’t near the top 3
Hilliard and Alexander are above him. So is guice , Charles Scott, and Jeremy hill

ill never forget i saw a gump post "Knowshon Moreno is No Shaun Alexander"

I’m assuming it’s UGA since the list of RBs in the OP left off a UGA back who won the Doak Walker, went #3 in the draft, was a consensus all American, SEC player of the year, had 4000 all purpose yards in 3 years. Oh not to mention another UGA RB who won the Heisman and didn’t even make the list either..

Its splitting hairs between UGA and Bama. Given where Auburn has been as a program lately, I'm giving it to them. They have had some really nice backs and seeing they're not in the comparison they're vastly underrated

You're giving AU RBU? Which really nice backs have they had lately that are better than what UGA and Bama have put out?

OU = RBU.
Adrian Peterson, DeMarco Murray, Joe Mixon, Samaje Perine, Damien Williams, Rhamondre Stevenson, Kenney Brooks, Marcus Dupree, Joe Washington, Billy Sims for starters.
